I'm sorry if this seems basic or redundant. I went to the Glossary to try and unconfuse myself, but to no avail.

Can Force Renewal Stack? 2 specific examples which may or may not be different. Can I give Darth Bane an extra with Holo Sidious? Can I give Cade 2 Renewals with HoloSid and Exar Force Spirit (from DotF)? Confused

Thanks for the help.

No, they do not stack.

It is the would be the equivilant of having opportunist twice (have it on the character and get it from new Thrawn). While you would have it tiwice, it wouldn't do anything.

Another thing players sometimes get confused with is the number after an ability/power. The number after the ability/power is quantity and does not affect the "name" of the ability/power.
To fit the example of Renewal and HoloSid and Bane, you would have to chose which one you wanted: Force Renewal 1 or Force Renewal 1. (tough choice huh?)
Now...if there was a character that had Force Renewal 2 (Plagueis for instance) and you haunted him with the new Exar, then you would have to use the higher Force Renewal 2 over Force Renewal 1. Here's a link to that ruling: (thanks ED)

Does that make sense?

Thanks for the logical explaination without making me feel stupid. I have spent much of my time collecting. I have probably only played 3 or 4 different people total, so my experience in game play is limited.

My son recently smoked me when I didn't use a Lightsaber Block (I was afraid I would beat his Bane too easily with my Windu...big mistake). All this to say that I am trying to soup up someone beyond what the card says to put a beating on the little buggar. Smile

Though in that situation, there would be no choice as you always take the higher iteration of an ability.

Ahh...now that makes more sense. Not sure why I was thinking you could chose. My apologies for misleading anyone.
