According to the stat card:Force Meditation Force 1, replaces turn: For the rest of the round, this character gains the following Force ability: Allied characters get +4 Attack and enemy characters get -4 Attack

My question is, does the "force ability" Artis gains fall under the Name "Force meditation" or does it give her an unnamed ability that grants the bonus? It looks like the latter, that she gets an ability that grants a flat attack bonus, but that does not have a unique name, and there for does not stack with other flat bonuses.

I'm basically trying to find out if this bonus stacks with her CE. I'm inclined to believe it was intended too, but with the current wording, can't really be sure.

It is an unnamed flat bonus, but it is a Force Power, not a CE, so it will stack with CEs that give a flat bonus.

Weird, so even though they are both unnamed flat bonuses, they still work together because of their sources (force vs CE). I've never heard of this ruling before... has this come up with any previous sets in the past?

No, because this is the first set to have unnamed Force Powers.

Wouldn't the "add 2 move" and "reroll" be considered unnamed Force Powers...?
(they just happen to also be unlisted on the cards)

I always thought of the "Move Faster" and re-roll ability of using FPs as a game mechanic. But I can see where you're comming from hukaberry.

Force Meditation grants what is now known as a "Force ability" which has been defined in the Glossary for DotF up on Gamers.

I wouldn't call it unamed, as Force Meditation is named. If you have 2 Atrises in the same squad, it wouldn't stack to have a +8 Atk or -8 Atk if you activated Force Meditation twice, similar to how you only are affected by one Corruption or Dark Force Spirit.

(That said, opposing Force Meditations do cancel each other out, as they are having different effects, thus not subject to stacking)

Here is the expanded definition of a "Force ability": (from Gamers)
Force abilities: Some characters have Force powers that remain in effect beyond that character's turn. These are called Force abilities. A Force ability remains active for the designated time. Force abilities cannot be cancelled unless the character is defeated, or at the moment the ability is activated (if a character with a Force canceling power like Force Absorb or Force Defense is within the required range at the time of activation). Force abilities that don't last until the end of the skirmish are negated prematurely if the character using it rolls a save, spends Force points, makes an attack, or is dealt damage. The ability immediately ends if the character joins an opponent's squad. Characters with Force Immunity ignore Force abilities.

Wow. There is a lot more to these force abilities then the card indicates. I like that.
