Alright so this piece has to be the ugliest Lady out of SW Minis. just a mess of a head sculpt and paint. I did repaint here with much improvement, but it really isn't enough.

I've been looking around at D&D minis and Heroclix and such products trying to find a replacement head for her.

It requires a pieces that has flowing hair of some sort so that it will rest on top of her cape. so any head sculpts with attached hair down the back or shoulders doesn't work too well. I saw one or too from clix that might do, but I figured I'd ask here as well.

And don't worry about colors and face sculpt too much. most face sculpts seem to be rather bland anyway which is ok. nothing that can be fixed with some paint.

Anyone have any ideas for a replacement head? Or possibly figures to make a brand new Nomi with?

Here are some Reference pictures.

The face kinda looks like sloth from the goonies.
You could try swapping with jean grey heroclix or 1 of the invisable women clix's and just repaint the hair

What, not choosing to use the receding hairline pics of her first appearences as a guideline.

Yeah some of the Jeans looked alright, the problem is the hair is sculpted to her body which wouldn't fit well on this. I could be wrong though, might take the proper adjustments.

I also have been considering combining figures. using so and so's legs, and such and such's body or w/e

haha yeah that always looked goofy. gotta love multiple artists. I hear the idea was she shaved the front part of her head like a monk or something... fans and their (our) theories

I'm going for the pants, shirt and cape look, one way or another. Similar to the existing mini.. that is if I craft a new one.

another question. does anyone know where I can find big gallery views of Heroclix sets without having to click on individual characters to see pictures? that would be a huge help.

I wrote the names down of a few clix somewhere but I definitely remember that Echo figure being one of them. I was planning to figure out a few possibile figs then just buying them somewhere as singles. test them all. hehe decapitations a plenty!

But I am still on the search in case the perfect candidate appears.

I looked around and didn't see a reasonable price for that elf figure mini

But while I was at a Five Below, I saw this heroclix set with this Invisible Woman figure that looked alright. the face looks a little angry but some paint could fix that I suppose. looks pretty good to use.
