I played this squad last night and have a great time. However, i'm debating on whether i should go with doombot instead. The current squad is:

--heavy--
66 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi General
35 Qui-Gon Jinn, Jedi Master
33 Captain Rex
46 Clone Trooper with Repeating Blaster x2
8 Mas Amedda
12 Ugnaught Demolitionist x4

(200pts. 10 activations)

The play out is that quigon is a bullet shield, and tries his best to prevent damage to the other units, while doing any damage possible, and helping with early game initiatives. When he dies, obi-wan will get the extra 6 FPs and MoTF2. Last night this tactic worked great, and obiwan was my surviving piece and game winner.

The clones must be kept as far back as possible, as they are extremely fragile. However, i had great effect with them, using them to clean up scrubs with their 5 attacks, to give rex a clean shot.

What i need to know is, should i keep the 4 ugnaughts, or trade out 3 of them for a doombot? I would like the tow-cable access, and override is great, but as it stands, i don't know if it would be foolish to take my 10 activations down to 8. Any advice?

How about instead of trading in 3 Ugnaughts for R2, what if you try dropping Mas and 2 Ugnaughts for R2 and a Mouse Droid?

Override would be really helpful with all that shooting going on. Too bad you can't fit in a Czerka...lots of chances for Jolt. ;)
