I've been putting this off for a long time, but unfortunately, it look like I need some money. I have to sell at least part of my collection & I'm trying to figure out how to do it. I have a few questions.
1.) What's the best (hopefully both fast & accurate) way of figuring out a reasonable price for the minis? 2.) I have lots of little, probably worthless figures. Do you think selling big faction lots, say at a 20-25% discount, would be a good way to get rid of everything? 3.) I've also got Hasbro figures, comic books, and trasformers I need to sell. Other than the trading forums here, are their any places you would recommend? eBay, Bartertown, etc?

Ebay is a great place to sell. Try doing lots of figures for army builders. Scout out prices of rares and very rares to get an idea how much they are going for. Sell the high priced ones separately. I know a lot of people just getting into the game who buy by the Lots. Hope it goes well for You.

You will get the most money by putting forth the most effort (single EBAY auctions). Your next bet is selling to on-line stores (big hit, only the good stuff will sell, good amount of money). Selling on boards will take a long time and you will be left with lots of junk.
Don't expect to get 100% value (how do you even guess the value of something BTW, EBAY, that makes you think). Think 50-60% (others are looking for sales just like you are). Larger lots are okay, but I don't think you really get more money.

Also keep in mind that Ebay takes their cut off your sale. And if you are using Paypal, they take their cut too. Boards (aka BlooMilk, Gamers, etc) are usually free and the shipping cost can still be put on the buyers. This leads to 100% profit (basically).
Time is the key factor. If you want the money quick, you'll sell them for less and usually in bulk. If you have the time, you can piece it all out and make more money.

Thanks so much for all the responses, guys. The big crisis was temporarily averted by getting a second job I actually really wanted, so next time I have a day off (it'll be a while) I've got to figure out if I need the money fast or have time to sell off the singles.
I really apologize to anybody who bloo mailed me, I just haven't had any time to respond. I'll get back to you, I swear.

I am selling my collection off to CoolstuffInc right now, and I have to say that they've got good prices and was surprised that they will take most of my junk commons too.
