Advance Battle Mediation canceled due to attack? Options

Playing a game. I use a force ability ABM and then get attacked. is it canceled then? Where is this mentioned? I can't find any reference to it other than a post referring to it being a rule too.

I know that ABM is new for DOTF, but there were other force abilities prior to DOTF and WOTC never had this rule, correct?

No. Force Abilities are a new type of Force power created in Destiny of the Force. There are others that have worked similarly, and are likely the base for Force Abilities, but do no fall under being a Force Ability themselves, with the added rules that comes with being a Force Ability.

As for the original question, no, they are not cancelled if the figure is attacked. It is cancelled if they take damage or if they make a save. This is covered in the rules insert.
