I am very seriously toying with the idea of delaying shipping on the new maps until the weather clears up. When I shipped out Map pack 2 in the winter time, I had to replace alot of map packs that were damaged by the weather. With such a limited quantity of maps I don't want to chance destroying the one we have.
Any thoughts?

Any thoughts? I'd definitely wait until the 2100-mile storm passes. Not sure about waiting the whole winter, though.

Avoid the big storms / and / plastic wrap sounds great.
Dont really want to pay for damaged maps.

Hey Matt, just do what you think is best. We all trust you 110%, and no one wants their maps damaged, so if you think a delay is wise then do it. Congrats on getting so many of your maps made legal btw, long overdue

Just being 100% honest, although this notion may have been ignorant on my part, but I expected to get the maps by late January.
I think it's a bit unreasonable to wait till spring because of weather reasons. USPS isn't perfect, but they are pretty good. Living in Michigan's upper peninsula I am no stranger to winter weather (mid october-late april some years), and I have yet to have any mail problems in my four years here.
Just being honest I feel like we have waited long enough from where things stood on November 3.

Just being honest I feel like we have waited long enough from where things stood on November 3. Nobody is waiting until late spring! Snd I'm extremely thrilled you've never had damaged mail due to weather. I have, often. And The maps were never going to be ready by late january. I didn't even get the funds until late january. It's irrelavant anyhow, because everything is getting shipped out this week, I just wanted to let the storm pass, and it did.
