Hey guys! I had a curious question. What is the best way to play test characters? I just finished my 3rd set which gives me 120 stats for minis. I have a way to make authentic looking cards (Photoshop Ftw) and im getting pretty adept at customizing minis. Of chorse you can only get stats that look good on paper and I want to know what the best way to make sure the characters are fair is? Is there a specific method for playtesting? Or a sheet on how much stuff should cost. And also how can you account for the roll of the die? What if you roll really good when testing out one guy which may lead him to be 'overcosted' also should I use characters exclusivly from those sets? Or combind them with outside sets or even combind them the way I meant them to be used (Ex Arc trooper squad that all boost each other.) If some one could please give me some advice on what I can do here it would be much appreciated! I really wanna put my customs to good use!

Honestly I think one of the most important things you can do is enlist the help of others. There's a lot of creative people who can find things you might not have considered when you were making them, particularly overpowered combos.

Yes, look outside yourself for playtesting. I design lots of figures and then others playtest them.
Look for the most efficient use of the figure in question. Look for CE synergies that are powerful.
When you playtest games, don't count crit's from Boba BH and then conclude "this piece is poo". Don't be afraid to back playtesting games up to see what would happen if you did this instead.
