Simple question if you use both of these in a republic build, skywalkers CE says a character who ends its move within 6 of him gains momentum, now since mas ranges CE's does this mean no matter where a figure ends it moves does it gain momentum even know ani isnt anywhere near because of mas? i know id have to trace a line back to it to tell weither or not booming voice would work, but wanna know does mas make ani's CE unlimited meaning can figs getting it end there move anywhere not within 6 of ani & still gain his CE? thanx in advance

Booming Voice affects all CE's that requires being within 6 of the commander.

Yes you can obtain the CE of Anakin in anyplace in the Map, with the SA of Mas, greettings.

Not necessarily. Booming Voice extends the range, does not make the CE rangeless. A key difference.

Not at all. A commander or affected character in a room with all the doors closed will not broadcast/recieve a CE with unlimited range while the same situation will work for a rangeless CE.

No, Palpatine's CE will work even if him or the affected character are in a locked room.

There is a difference between unlimited range and rangeless. Rangeless means that the CE will affect characters regardless of where the character or the commander is. Unlimited Range means that you still need to be able to count the distance between the two characters; If one of the two is in a locked room, then you cannot count range between the two so the CE would not be in effect.

Thanks, this is a little doubt that I have, greettings.

The easiest way to the think of it is Booming Voice goes from Range 6 to range 600.

You still have to count the squares, but the only case you'll not be able to reach the follower is if doors block every path from the commander.

Boardwide (better word that 'rangeless') CEs don't care about doors. They affect every square on the board equally.
