Hey guys, I want to do a custom of Darth Malgus, yet I don't know much about him or how I should make him. So to the people who have made him or will make him, could you tell me how you made him?? I would like to know the miniatures that are best to use. Thanks for all your help guys!

The Neimoidian Warrior from the Clone Wars set has been a popular choice for the body. Any bald head would do plus sculpey or greenstuff for his mask and gear.

As far as finding out about a certain SW character. Just go to Wookieepedia, then once there drop the name in the search Engine. You'll find all kinda great stuff there dude. Most characters have so many links that branch off of them it's unreal. Usually I go there with one thing in mind and next thing I know I have like 10 windows open on all these cool characters I never even heard off. You can seriously get lost over there with the shear volume of it all. Whenever I find a cool character or I get an idea for a custom I just save the link in notepad. Gives ya something to make notes on too as you work on the character. Oh ya almost forgot to post the Darth Malgus link. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Darth_MalgusThere ya go man, don't get lost over there like I do.

The new Old Republic Novel just released is a very well written book and it features Malgus. It really delves into his character. Now I'm only halfway through, but so far, I really like what I've read.

The Book Is called " Decieved"... Not only does it describe the scene that takes place in the trailer in the movie but it describes the State of Both the Sith Empire and the Jedi. Ive been pretty disappointed with some of the new books out, for ex. in the Fate of the Jedi Series. This book has definitely exceded my expectations.

From what I've read so far Darth Malgus is a kriffin TANK! Darth Bane type stats come easily to mind when reading about him.

One quick continuity question. Here Malgus seems to be constantly drinking a cup of caffe while on Coruscant. Didn't Luke Skywalker discover caffe in the Thrawn Trilogy on some far away planet. Anyway. Great Book! Nice stats on Malgus so far. I think they represent him well so far!

As to the caffe, I know that Luke said explicitly he was drinking something called "Hot Chocolate." I don't think he ever called it "caffe." So if caffe is hot chocolate and not coffee, then I guess that would be a continuity error retrofit into "forgotten knowledge."
