Trying out some new Separatist Squads with the droideka. Here is my personal favourite one:

http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/102640/lance-and-shield

--Lance and Shield--
57 General Grievous, Droid Army Commander
37 Series II Destroyer Droid
36 Darth Sidious
35 Wat Tambor
31 IG Lancer Droid
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist

(199pts. 6 activations)

Other variants switch out the lancer and Wat for:

--Rolling Death Balls--
57 General Grievous, Droid Army Commander
36 Series II Destroyer Droid
36 Series II Destroyer Droid
36 Darth Sideous
12 Gha Nakht
15 A4 Series Lab Droid
7 R7 Astromech
199
*nice part about this team is pawning the healer to restore up to 60 HP a turn. Also yes the title is a clone wars term haha*

--Droideka--
57 General Grievous, Droid Army Commander
37 Series II Destroyer Droid
36 Darth Sidious
43 Wat Tambor, Techno Union Foreman
15 Lobot CIO
12 Gha Nakht
200

(200pts. 6 activations)

*this last team allows you the potentiality of reserves 25% of the time, and well not good to rely on them. Being able to bring in mouse Droid wall, a bodyguard, or IGs/HKs is always a nice addition.*

So thoughts, most DCI competitive? If none then how to improve said team

(199pts. 6 activations)

Well, the 37 point unit is not the droideka. :) Theed

With all the ion gun around now days, Series II DD's are good against everything else. What about one Series II DD and 2x IG-86 to back it up. GGDAC is very expensive. 9 points for BDO and 20 points for Whorm leave you lots of extra points for droids. I've not been able to pull off a reserves squad. It's just too unreliable (25% of the time you get more figures).

I like the idea of pawning the lab droid. I don't think your opponent would expect that.
