Hi! I haven't been on for a while (moving).
I was just wondering if anyone has tried a Rebel storm only sealed? If so how well didi it work? I just thought the idea sounded fun and wanted to know what people think.

could be quite fun I would think as long as no one got R2. I know we recently did a ROTS sealed (thank you target) and it was a blast.

There is a shop in OKC that still has 7 sealed boosters.

Door control is really the only major issue for sealed games of older sets. Otherwise, sealed games work pretty well.

They used to have boosters in a bunch of Waterstones's (I can't turn that into a plural without it sounding and looking wrong). THat is where I got my KotOR and CotF boosters and my Clone Wars Starter. But yeah, that is the only place I have seen a Rebel Storm booster and made sure I handled it so I could say I had at least looked at one.

I'm always tempted to get them, But, hew still wants $15.00 per booster. I may get his universe and Bounty Hunters boosters.

Rebel Storm is great for sealed, and is one of the ideal sets for Draft.

I felt the same way when my LGS had some RS boosters a while back, but since I had never opened any, I couldn't resist. It hurt the pocketbook, but I fared pretty well, pulling a Scout on Speeder, Dewback, Boba, R2 and Greedo.
I fared much worse on the last few UH/BH packs they had.

I have a sealed RS Starter, and am tempted to crack it just for the UC/Cs. Blushing

Juicy Rationalization: I could use the uniques for RaR customs. Woot Unsure RollEyes

It looks like the best bet for Rebel Storm boosters is at Miniature Market right now, $11 each. Free shipping for orders of $75 or more. Those guys are alright.

Hey, Swinefeld, the Rebel Storm starter comes with two pieces that are ONLY available in the starter, RS 10 & 21, Luke Skywalker, Rebel and Darth Vader, Dark Jedi. You may want to consider opening that starter if you don't already have them. I really like that map, too.

Thanks - I already have all that stuff from a previous starter purchase. I kind of forgot that the starter version of the Death Star map has the blank side though. Could be fun to use a couple of them with tiles and 3D terrain.

I've had it in my head that the only truly exclusive stuff was in Hoth and the various Clone Wars extras. Probably because the old stuff used standard set numbers. I have all of those older starter pieces, but I've lost track of which ones my son already had vs the ones I traded for.
