I agree with Weeks that Geddy Lee in Rush is great. Even on relatively lame, sedate 80s tracks, there's still some intricate bass stuff going on. Another good prog rock guy is Chris Squire from Yes - he often uses this huge, rumbling tone. As long as you enjoy 20 minute songs, you should check him out! Close To The Edge is my favourite album.

Even though it's cliche, it's hard to go past Paul McCartney's Beatles stuff. I love him on poppy stuff, like 'Hello Goodbye'.

Family Force 5 do some pretty bass-heavy tunes. As does Rebecca Black ;)

You also can't beat Led Zepelin. I play bass in a Zep cover band and can tell you that Living Lovin MAid, "Ramble on" , Heartbreaker," Travellin Riverside Blues," and "What is and what shoud never be" are some of the most rockin, Bass thumpin and Heart pumpin Bass examples

Space - Deliverance (Justus Köhncke Wild Pitch Mix)

Lucy Love - Poison

Mt Eden Dubstep - Sierra Leone

Koan Sound - Akira

Chase & Status - Blind Faith (just because that track rocks!)
