Alright; I've been under some various pressure to buy citadel paints; and ive finally caved. So i've decided to buy 10 citadel acrylic paints! I really dont know the essential colors; so im asking YOU to post the top ten paints/washes (for a grand total of ten) i should buy of citadel paints! NOTE: Do NOT include any glosses; black; white; or gray. I have a light tan as well but am not sure if it's the same as skin color. So post the top ten paints/washes you think i should get!

I dont even think I have ten paints! Lol I have the citidal base paint set from a few years ago. But aside from alot of black (ESPICIALLY if you like making sith XD) red is used alot. Through the 30+ customs I have made I have only found my self needing a 'skin tone' at one point. Silver is also a good color,I have this sparkely silver that can be mixed with any color and give the same sparkely (not glossey) effect. Pretty much you just need all other base colors. One that I wish I did have that I dont is brown. Its good for wookiees, vests and stuff. A great way to get lots of different colors is buy the like 7 basic colors and a box of cheap toothpicks and just mix them on a plastic top or cardboard. You get almost any color. Hope this helps!

Base colors: Black White Red Yellow Blue Flesh
The last four think about what colors you'll need for characters you want to paint - since you can make most of the colors by mixing the previous ones only get ones you know you'll probably use a lot (such as brown for cloaks)- or as has been stated if you want sparkles.

I would avoid the citadel red, the coverage isn't very good. I'd recommend the "Mechrite Red" from their foundation paints series as a base and then layer thinner the brighter reds over it to create depth.
If you want to stick to ten paints I'd suggest
Chaos Black Skull White Mechrite Red and Blood Red Ultramarines Blue Dwarf Flesh and Elf flesh for faces. Beastial Brown Devlin Mud Wash Flesh Wash
