To elaborate on what darthbane53 stated, after downloading the pictures to your computer from a digital camera using a USB/Firewire cord (or scanning the pictures in) you can create an account at one of the many free image hosting sites. Imageshack is one but I've been with PhotoBucket for the last 8 years and have had no problem. After you upload the picture online, they will give you a link. To post here, you use:
[img]address of image[ /img] with no space between the the last "[/" bit.

ok. so i've got as far as imageshack, but still can't figure out how to post 'em here. Not sure I understand "post link under link tab here". I'm not seeing a link tab?

Okay, once it's posted to imageshack, right click the image, go to properties. Copy the url. That is what you need to post in the image tags.

I'm in the R&R gallery, but it is only posting a link, not the actual pic. What the @!#$ am i doing wrong?
