*Ahem* Attention folks who play at Garys Games: no cheating by looking at my squad ahead of time.
(Actually I don't care. Go ahead an peek if you'd like)
So we're playing with 200 points this week in a 4-man squad. Looking over the list of minis, I realize that I've never tried out the Grand Master Luke, and now that I have points to burn, I thought I might take him out for a spin. So I was thinking of something along these lines:
Squad 1 - 115 Grand Master Luke Skywalker 41 PROXY 20 Cade Skywalker, Padawan 15 Bacta Tank
Use Cade as mad crazy healing, and I love the idea of double up Luke as Proxy. But then I got playing around with the idea of loads of healing on Luke to let him take the brunt of the attacks, so I came up with this:
Squad 2 - 115 Grand Master Luke Skywalker 61 Cade Skywalker, Bounty Hunter 15 Bacta Tank 9 Gungan Bounty Hunter
Cade does all the healing duties, letting Luke do the heavy lifting. Why the Gungan? I had 9 points left hanging about. So of the two, which do you guys favor? Or what would you tweak and change about?

I like squad 2, but a Bacta Tank is hard to use, how about this
115 Grand Master Luke Skywalker 61 Cade Skywalker, Bounty Hunter 21 Houjix 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
(200pts. 4 activations)
The Houjix for a 90 pt BG and the uggie, well, 3 pts left.
P.S. Cade does some pretty heavy lifting too.

I would go with Squad 2. The full power of GMLS is not just in his stats, but his special abilities and force powers. I mean, triple twin is nuts. But, Proxy will not benefit from his C/E or gain any of his SA's and will only have 1 FP to do a block. Sure, his stats are nice, but for 20 more, Cade is a far better choice. Proxy will do some damage, but Cade BH will be more helpful. In my opinion of course!

Id go with squad two and go with 3 uggies as stated in place of the Gungans. Activation control will be a prob . to bad you couldn't get Dodonna in the squad.

Some other options:
- Ganner Rhysode can levitate him around and help him get his triple attacks off - Someone local runs GMLS with the Jedi Demolitionists from DOTF - Force Renewal from GMLS means that they can pull off their Force Bubble a lot, and they can also blow up doors. It might work in this format, although you'd have a hard time against Vong.

The only thing this squad has in common with yours is GMLS, but I wanted to throw it in anyway.
115 Grand Master Luke Skywalker 56 Jaina Solo, Sword of the Jedi 25 Leia Skywalker, Jedi Knight 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
(199pts. 4 activations)
No healing, but lots of free re-rolls and two scary, fast attackers.

Cade with this Luke doesn't need a bacta tank. Cade will have force renewal, and that's enough healing. You'd have to have Cade meet Luke at the Bacta tank to make it work. Once you play GMLS you'll find an 80 point heal is not needed for Luke. For the love of bob, drop the tank
