The SWTOR: Deceived Novel came out on March 22nd, just want to hear some comments first.
Is it good?
How about the fight scenes? Are the fight scenes as good as Darth Bane novels or as short as The Force Unleashed?
Should i get it or pass?
Thank you for the replies

Sorry I didn' t see this thread earlier. I thought the Deceived novel was quite a bit better then the 1st Novel written a while back. I might even actually go back and reread the last one. This novel was well written with very good character development. Without giving too much away, I'm sure you will like the depiction of the sacking of Coruscant and the Jedi temple as depicted in the original trailer. Very well written book. I can't say that for some of the newer EU books such as the Fate of the Jedi series, But this one impressed me.

I forgot to comment on the comparison between this book and the books mentioned, the Force Unleashed Novel and the Bane trilogy fight scenes. even though I felt the Force Unleashed books, which were written by the same author I think, the Deceived scenes did not feel choppy and uneven as the Force Unleashed scenes. That might be expected in a game developed solely to describe the gameplay. even though Deceived is basically developed to help promote the game, the fight scenes were well depicted and the character development much more advanced. It actually reminded me a little of the way Drew Karpachian wrote the Bane novel including the fight scenes. I liked this particular novel almost as much as the Bane Trilogy. Just my thoughts.

I just finished this book yesterday. And I really think this is a MUST READ! I loved it , the same guy wrote Crosscurrent and that one is excellent as well. The Knight Errant paperback is cool too, the story takes a little bit to pick up, but once it does it doesn't disappoint. I thought the first Force Unleashed book was well written, the second one was very disappointing to me though. It felt like it was rushed. It seemed like he hadn't planned on writing a second one and then had to meet a deadline due to the game. I do like that author though. Sean "something" if I remember right. He has some other great stuff as well. But I wouldn't recommend the second Force Unleashed book. qvos wrote: even though Deceived is basically developed to help promote the game, the fight scenes were well depicted and the character development much more advanced. I agree with ya there too qvos.
