I just heard this reported on the news today. And a buddy of mine had emailed it to me. The last surviving veteran of the first world war has died, he was 110 years old. "May all these brave men rest in peace, but live eternal in our memory." Quote from CC-23478 http://www.itv.com/news/last-ww1-veteran-dies64400/Makes me feel proud to be a Veteran.  I can only hope to be around as long as he was. I bet that guy saw a lot in his lifetime. I believe they said he was also a WWII Veteran. May he rest in peace.

My Dad has a term he uses, which I have forgotten, which basically says WW1 will soon be passing out of living history or something. This takes us one step closer.
