I've been messing around with this squad for months now, and I just can't seem to get it to come together properly: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/92148/mobile-machine-gunsI'd be great if I could get the CTRBs to have Accurate, but the only way that I can see to do that is to put them in a squad with Emperor Palpatine, Sith Lord and General Veers, then replace Yularen with Piett, but at that point the squad gets to be way over 200 points. Tempo control would also be killer with this squad (because of Yularen), but the Republic and Fringe factions have limited ability to do this in the number of points I have to play around with. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to improve this squad (including a better name )? Thoughts are appreciated.

Here are some thoughts and suggestions, so take them for what they're worth:
I really don't see the Czerka doing much for you other than Jolt, which is fun if you can pull it off, but fairly useless otherwise. Jolt is good for giving you the +4/+10 from Yularen, but think about the situation that has to happen for it to work with your CRB's: CRB's have to be within 6 of her, nearest enemy without stealth (and other targeting rules), has not already activated (which may be a factor with your lack of activation control), you have to hit them, and they have to fail their save and any subsequent re-rolls. Then it will work. IMO, I don't think she's worth the points in this squad.
What I do see as a problem for this squad is anyone with Stealth. You currently have 2 people that can attack them once per round, and the CRB's, which is the crux of this squad, cannot unless they're within 6. Face a Super Stealth squad, and you're really going to have to be on your game to pull it off. I would suggest considering either Depa or Zuckuss BH. Personally I would go with Depa for many reasons: 1. She's cheaper than Zuckuss. 2. She can use Force Sense 3 times vice 2. 3. She's a fair melee piece on her own, which might give you some good balance if you don't face a Stealth squad. 4. She has Deflect if you choose to use it instead of Force Sense. But, I mentioned Zuckuss because he is a very competitive piece on his own, so you should consider him as well.
But, you're wondering who I would scrap for Depa? I'd take out Czerka and Sev myself, but it's your squad to tinker with if you choose.
Also, I think you can do without Mas. You currently have 2 Commanders that you would use him for, and I think you could have the same effectiveness with 2 Mouse Droids for 2 points less and an extra activation to boot.
What to do with those 2 points? I would consider taking out the R7 and turning those points into 3 ugnaughts. But if you feel you need 2 Override pieces, then stick with the R7. Changing Mas and the R7 into 2 mouse droids and 3 ugnaughts will greatly affect your activation control and may make Yularen more worth having.
Again, these are just suggestions. Either way, have fun! :)

I had a play with this and I think I have a viable option for you.
Captain Rex Elite Clone Trooper Commander Commander Gree Clone Trooper with Repeating Blaster Republic Clone Trooper with Repeating Blaster Republic Clone Trooper with Repeating Blaster Republic Clone Trooper with Repeating Blaster Republic Rodian Trader Admiral Yularen Mouse Droid Mouse Droid Mouse Droid
With The Elite clone commander your giving your Repeaters a defense boost and with Gree's special your getting that attack bonus your wanted, and the mouse droids are there instead of Mas to boost the range of those rather tasty CE's.
I added in the Trader to give allies another option with grenades and the heal might come in handy but you could swap it out for something else. Overall I dont think its too bad but against anything with a light saber I think squads based around fairly costly troopers will always struggle, their HPs are just too low, but I reckon you could have some fun with it for sure!

It never occurred to me to add someone with Force Sense, but it's a really good idea that I'll probably use. I'm also throwing in a Rodian Diplomat to help. Saving 2 points by replacing Mas with 2 Mice also helps a little. One argument against losing Mas though is that the CTRBs will have to be within six squares of the Mice to benefit from any CE (just like with the Czerka), but I think the Mice are probably a better idea. Activations really help with Yularen's CE, but I always keep at least one door control piece in most of my squads. @Qynst- The squad looked similar to this before. I thought about the Elite CT Cmdr., but I decided that GMA would help keep the CTRBs safe, so the extra defense wasn't necessary. I also originally had Gree for the extra attack bonus (and because he's a decent piece himself), but I felt that 20 points for +4ATK was a little much. I'll probably make two variations of this squad, one being the one I have now and another using the Czerka and/or Gree. Thanks for the input, guys!

Scrapping Mas is more of a personal decision. I like to play a bit more aggressively if I can. Keep in mind your CRB's can be within 6 of your commanders as well as the mice, so I don't think you're as limited as you might think by going with 2 mouse droids instead of Mas. You've got 3 CRB's in your squad. If you really wanted a 3-prong attack, you could keep 1 by your commanders and 1 by each mouse with the same effectiveness. At the very least I would say try out a few variations and see what works for you.
As for door control, you have R2. I was suggesting more activations (Ugnaughts) over having another Override piece (the R7.) But if you feel you need 2 Override pieces to open a door far away, then stick with the R7. It's really up to you and the way you and your group plays and what maps you like.
Oh, and the Rodian Diplomat. I was thinking about him as a cheaper way to deal with stealth. The one thing you have to keep in mind though is the Diplomat SA. Your tailored your squad to have GMA, so I'm assuming you'll try to keep your clones hidden and use Mobile Attack for best effectiveness. This means that you won't have anyone within LOS of the enemy in order for the Diplomat SA to work. So, your Diplomat will effectively be free points to your opponent unless you keep someone else in LOS to protect the Diplomat. I'm not sure who on your current squad you would want to keep in the enemy's LOS, except maybe Yularen for Recon, but if he's in LOS, he's toast against most shooters. So, I would suggest steering clear of the Rodian, because the way you'd have to play him is not the way you have tailored the rest of the squad. All of this is of course my opinion, so if you feel you can pull it off, more power to you. Either way, have fun! :)

@hothie- You're right about Mas and the Mice, and I did decide to scrap Mas. I also trimmed down to one R7. As far as the Rodian goes, the whole LOS thing never occurred to me, so I got rid of him too.
I'm almost wondering if I should drop Yularen; without tempo control, a significant number of activations, or the Czerka to provide Jolt, Yularen really doesn't help here. I'm at a loss as to what to put in place of him, though. Maybe another CTRB or ARC Trooper Sniper?

OK, I had another look at this and with your thoughts on dropping Yularen I made some changes, added Dash Rendar in (another GMA) and a medic along with R2 for that override which you seem quite keen to utilise. (Also handy if the opponent is running with Mice)
I kept Gree in because ALL chars have the same name for the purpose of his CE Which means Dash, the Medic and Rex all help the CTRBs. Any way I really think that with some tweaks this could be quite a a good sqaud but I maintain against a good Saber user you could come unstuck, I know GMA will help but it only takes Vader or Maul to provoke an AoO against one the clones and they will be toasty. Still, I hope you stick with it!
