If a Sith Inquisitor grips an enemy commander and he fails the MoP save; does the character's Commander Effect:
a) still apply to their squad b) negate completely for the rest of the round c) now applies to your (the Sith Inquisitor's) squad for the rest of the round.
Likewise, would it affect Force Abilities in the same way or in a different way?
Thanks in advance!

Since the character failed the save, they have joined the squad of the Sith Inquisitor. So any SA/FP/CE now apply to the new squad for that round.

Note that taking damage does cancel Force Abilities, though, so any Force Abilities that the character was using before they switched would no longer be active. Of course, if the character hadn't activated yet, you can start up the Force Ability after they've switched.

Those that last the whole skirmish, like Exar Kun's, wouldn't be cancelled, and would apply to your squad as if he was an ally.

if you MoP an enemy character who has already activated and it fails it's MoP save do you get to take an action/activation with it while it is now on your side? I couldn't find an answer on the Holocron FAQ site.

So, no, you can't also activate the fig.
