Guys I'm sorry, my schedule got way crazier and I don't know much in advance when I'm available but I guess I'll keep showing up on vassal randomly just in case when I can until I can figure out something.
As far as I know Tuesday night 7pm going on I should be able to play, anybody?

Ok wow I k now I'm just as guilty as everyone but only 3 games played???
I'm going to get online tonight (prob after 9 EST).
Please try to get some games in soon.
If no one plays any games I will just cancel this league due to lack of participation.

If no one plays any games I will just cancel this league due to lack of participation. I thought that a no-schedule league would work. Just jump on when you have time and play who's available. Then near the end of the league, schedule the people you didn't run into by happenstance. But on at least 4 occasions I've jumped onto Vassal hoping to find a game, left myself logged in for an hour or more, and only once did I see anyone and get a league game. Generally I played non-league games instead. A set schedule with play-or-lose might have worked better to force people to get the games done.

How long do you try to keep it alive? These messages haven't even garnered cries of, "Sorry - I really do plan to get my games in!"
Anyway - if there is a new league, I'd be interested in the following format:
Normal 200 pt games, not a booster league. Twist is - if you win you have to keep the same squad for the next game until the squad loses. If you lose, then in your next game you can choose a new squad. This gives a slight bonus when a player loses. If they play a player who won their previous game - the loser has the option to build a hate squad for that opponent. But of course, if it's a pure hate squad and not strong generally, then it would only win a single game. Two winners facing off would have 2 strong squads (that already won at least once) playing each other. And 2 losers could both start from scratch with new squads. Just throwing it out there.
