I recently bought a Nook Tablet. I love it!!!  One of the greatest devices I've ever bought myself.  I've tried for years to collect the Star Wars comics in book form. However, I was never able to keep up with them. Now that I have the Nook, I can get them in single issue and volume format. What I would like to know, *without spoiling what's in them,* are which ones are your favorites? So far I've read Star Wars Adventures: Boba Fett and the Ship of Fear. Fett is my favorite character.  I am currently reading Star Wars The Old Republic: Volume One: Blood of the Empire. I'm really digging this one.  The next ones I planed to get are the Invasion series in volume form.  So please post which ones you like, I'd like to know. Thanks, SD P.S. I did manage to acquire some of the Knight Errant series in book form from my Canadian soldier buddy General_Grievous.  I haven't had a chance to read them as of yet.

Crimson Empire I, II, and III are really, really great. III just finished up a few months ago; they are each 6 issue mini-series, so 18 issues total. They introduce Kir Kanos, Carnor Jax, and Mirith Sinn.

Crimson Empire 1 and 2. The story of Kir Kanos. Far and away my favourite Star Wars comic ever. The only problem is it always finishes too soon.
EDIT: Today I learnt there is a third volume! Thanks Echo! Happiest day of my life.

My favorites are probably the Infinities and the Tales series. Jedi vs. Sith is a good mini-series too.
I should go back and re-read some of them, but with 5.5 GB of SW comics in my collection, that might take a while.

I enjoyed most of KotoR and the Jahan Cross mini series (I can't remember exactly what it was called, Iron Eclipse I believe). It had a cool James Bond-ish vibe.

Yeah, the recent Jahan Cross series was pretty cool. The comic was called Agent of the Empire, the first arc (the only one out so far) was called Iron Eclipse.

I have to go with the Tales of the Jedi Comics, although Star Wars Tales are very good. Although the comic Splinter of the Mind's Eye is short, it is very good. P.S. I have all of mine in book format  . Is a Nook a good way to read comics?

I loved Legacy, and picked up a few issues of Invasion and really enjoyed that. (I have to go back and get the earlier stuff as well as pick up the new ones.)
I also really liked Dark Empire, and the first issue of Dawn of the Jedi was interesting (again I have to go and grab the rest of.)
But Legacy was my absolute favorite, quick pitch is Star Wars 140 ABY, lots of neat characters, craziness, and plenty o fighting.

Something else that is wicked cool on the Nook is an app they have for the Walking Dead series. A series which I  by the way. Still reading them so please no spoilers there either. It shows the whole page first but then it zooms in on each and every panel as you turn the page. It's awesome!!! They fit the whole page, plus you can turn the Nook to change the view. The panels widen or shorten depending on how you hold the Nook. I also have Netflix and several games. I talked about those a little in the off topic section, so check there if your interested in that as well.

Loving the Rogue Squadron and TOR comic. Favorite comic was the Dark Times and part of the Clone wars. I have enjoyed what I read of Invasion and loved Vector.

I've been reading Star Wars comics since 1977 and the best run, hands down, is Knights of the Old Republic. For my money, Miller may be not only the best Star Wars comic writer but Star Wars writer in any non-movie format. In KotOR, Miller combines characterization as rich as that of the Original Trilogy with a background tapestry as rich as that of the Prequel Trilogy. This guy knows his Star Wars.
Knight Errant (also by Miller) and the recent KotOR: War are good, but (so far) have not reached the height of KotOR.
Republic/Clone Wars/Dark Times is also excellent, although unlike KotOR, there are a few clunker issues (Still, one bad issue here and there in a 100+ issue run isn't bad!).
I really enjoyed both recent "agent" stories: Iron Eclipse (Agent of the Empire) and Lost Suns (Old Republic).
For a slightly more old school feel, consider the entire run of Marvel Comic's Star Wars, which--although dated--is surprisingly entertaining much of the time.

Legacy is an amazing series. Im still working on KOTOR so I havent read those yet. Another great one is blood ties with boba fett, the art is mind blowing. As for crimson empire the first one was good but the IMO they got increasingly less interesting.

DB, I definitely agree re: Crimson Empire. The first is the best. I think the characters remain interesting, but the situations--not so much.
I know a lot of folk love Legacy, but it wasn't for me. Too many characters, and too depressing a future for my tastes. Without getting too spoilery, I find it very disappointing that literally generations of heroes that I care about fought and died for THIS? Ugh. Still, it has a lot of interesting ideas and is usually very pretty. I think of it as "Image Comics does Star Wars." (Since Squelch and I are basically contemporaries, I suspect he'll get the reference, even if it's lost on some of you whippersnappers).

If you are a huge boba fett fan, you've gotta read Blood Ties. Its one of the best drawn comics i've ever picked up, and the story line was rock solid.
I will say that Legacy is probably one of the best (if not the best) comic books i have ever read. Its certainly the best star wars story i've ever picked up... does a great job of really capturing the "star wars feel" (better then the prequels, imho).
Knights of the Old republic was kind of a doctor jeckle/mr hyde for me. Some story arcs were superb, some were just "meh". I would say it is definately worth picking up, I just found it to be a little lack luster every once in a while. Despite that, when it was good, it was really really good.
Dark times has been one of my favorites as well. Just a really good cast of characters in that one.
Finally, if you want a good laugh, pick up Tag and Binks. Its a star wars comedy about 2 guys who are in the background of the movies, trying to help the main cast out. Its actually made me laugh out loud in a few places, which is saying a lot, because I have no soul.

I've really enjoyed the Legacy series, Knights of The Old Republic, Tales of The Jedi, Jedi vs Sith, Dark Empire, Blue Harvest, Vector, basically anything from Dark Horse is worth reading.

Don't know why... but I couldnt get into the TOR comic or Nights Errant. People swear by the new serious (forgot the name... supposed to tell about the oldest point in star wars history yet), but 3 issues in and i'm still not really feeling it... I'll give it time thought. I really didn't like Legacy or KOTOR until the last few pages of issues 5 or 6... so, i'm slow to grow onto certain books.
