Was there a new map for the BHC as well? I remember Chris West hinting at that some time ago on facebook

The Kickstarter was also a pretty good hint.

It did, and one side of it looks just awesome for competitive play and I really hope (and kind of expect) that it will be on the Restricted list.

Oh - I thought the mystery map was part of the BHC. I don't know. I wasn't there.

Just read on the facebook group page - Sidious and Luke will be issued in set 5 in the standard card design.

Yes, the initial kickstarter goal was for the mystery map tournament.

I suppose they could have used any of them for the BHC as well...

Chris West designed two different maps for his Kickstarter program. One was used for the Mystery Map, and he was so awesome that he didn't even have it previewed at his booth in the Dealer's Hall until after the event. The other was only used during the Bounty Hunter Challenge and is a very cool map! They are all in the same style as the first ever SWM map, Death Star. And, lo-and-behold, it seems many of the six maps combine in various combinations. Cool

BH challage was ran at many times during GC.
for $6 you played another SWM gamer on West's new map.
If you defeated the "special' characters (sidious & luke), you received the cards for those pieces that are legal to use as of today.
So, you get them sooner than any one elseThumbsUp

A father of 2 young boys showed up at the table. One boy looked like he was about 10, one about 7. I got the 7 year old. He wanted to play a squad with the 1 Darth Vader they had, 1 ATST, and the rest of the squad was ewoks. Well, they had 1 ewok card. Someone in the family came up with the idea of using Teddy Grahams as the recommended mini for the ewoks and the 7 year old enthusiastically slapped them down on the map. Well, if any of you have ever played against someone that young, you know that it is more about the experience than the actual gameplay with them. I went along with that, letting him set up all over the board. I came out with Luke and waded right into the middle of his edible figures (Which is a great idea, customizers!) and let them surround him. Like his father before him, Luke started slaughtering these small inoffensive creatures, and after each defeat the boy would grab the Teddy Graham off of the board and eat him. Thus began the game within the game of seeing who could eat the Teddy Grahams as Luke killed them. I managed to get just one by distracting him as I attacked it. Now, during this whole adventure this kid was rolling crazy lucky. He needed like 16 or 17 to hit Luke most of the time yet just kept pounding away. Luke has Lightsaber defense, but there was no way I was wiping the joy off of this kid's face by rolling those, so I let all of the damage he did stick. It came down to a damaged ATST, a damaged Vader, and 1 Teddy Graham at the end when he rolled a crit with the ATST. I DID use lightsaber defense on that one, but failed both save attempts. So... I was totally bested by this 7 year old, not only losing the game but also only getting to consume 1 Teddy Graham. Needless to say, he left with the new cards and a stomach so full it rivaled Jabba's and a huge smile on his face. Favorite game of the whole weekend for me.
