V-set #5's name is..............

Galactic Heroes (60 pieces)

and it's subset..........

The Old Republic (10 pieces)

also included in the subset will be the Bounty Hunter Challenge pieces Luke and Darth Sideous.

So speculate away. We should have spoilers for those interested soon.

From the set-name, I'd expect an extremely heavy New Republic theme, featuring pieces like:
General Dodonna, Galactic Hero
Jagged Fel, Galactic Hero
Ben Skywalker, Galactic Hero
Cade Skywalker, Galactic Hero
General Wedge Antilles, Galactic Hero
Talon Karrde, Galactic Hero
Kyp Durron, Galactic Hero
Wolf Sazen, Galactic Hero

But this is probably unrealistic.

100% on board for all of these! I'd love a New Republic Heavy set. Bring on Chewbacca, Galactic Hero!

Subset The Old Republic. Does this also count as The Republic as talked about by Ben Kenobi? I hope so.

As for a set of galactic heroes. Think Rogue Squadron! Think Ysanne Isard (yippee!!! My favourite Star Wars villain). Maybe a NR Leia, some kind of super diplomat. That Bothan guy who we all hate! A new Kyp Durron? ( With the synergy with Jaina called "Will they, won't they?" Alternates between +4+4 and -4-4 each round. Lol.).

Warlord Zjingj, or however you spell it. A new Baron Fel??? A REBEL BARON FEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Old Republic figures to be from the game and comics:
Sith
Darth Vitiate
Darth Malgus (Guaranteed or your money back)
Imperial Agent (sniper/mook)
Sith Juggernaut (Generic beatstick/tank)

Old Republic
Old Republic Captain from the trailers
Kerra Holt

Fringe
Gryph!

Just a guess based on most requested.

I think we'll get a Gryph in this set. People have been saying they wanted a Gryph since KOTOR... and an old republic mini set would be perfect for him...

I do have a concern that the "old republic" mini set is actually OR, as in, the video game/comic series, in which I guess Gryph wouldn't fit in there... which would be a bummer considering he has been such a high demand piece and somehow managed to be missed on wizards KOTOR set, AND Scum and Villiany, which really were fitting for him.

I guess it depends on what you think is New Republic heavy. The opening crawl of ROTS was the main idea of the name, more than the NR Han's title.

I will say there is a good chunk of long awaited new and remade characters in this set.

There is much more demand for Uniques than non-uniques. As such, I have no complaint if the whole 12-piece miniset is made up of uniques.

Oh ok. Still, there are 4 New Republic pieces with Galactic Hero in their name...it just seemed fitting BigGrin

Cool,
Look forward to the spoilers

I would like the next mini set after set 5 to be Vong and/or Mando based for set 6 though, OR era has had a lot of love since the Vsets started. Not a complaint as I really did feel they needed it.

Well, there is plenty of Vong love in V5.

Actual previews are going start next month, most likely. Though I will see what info I can give out on SHHN before then. I'm surprised no one reposted the list that given 3 weeks ago.

Nice. Some well needed remakes... Hairfire, and nunb especially. Excited to see those. Was suprised to see the b3, basilisk, and draay, as theyre a fairly solid pieces. Not that they're ultra competitive, but that they seem like they're one good CE away from being so.

I think, that for most of them, there'll be a companion piece/commander that will boost them up rather than a remake.
