Who's the best bodyguard in the game, in your opinion?
I'm repping for the Mandalorian piece Fenn Shysa, because he's a good shooter, his commander effect is awesome, and he can Beskar'gaam the damage that he takes.
But what do you think? He's got some tough competition from Satele Shan, Ponda Baba Galactic Criminal, some of the Rebel Chewbaccas, Human Bodyguard, and lots of others.

Feris Olin is pretty awesome, even though he just protects jedi.
Human bodyguard is hard to beat for cost effectiveness.
Captain Panaka is great for everything else he brings, bodyguard is just a plus.

I'm a big fan of Lowbacca (only a Jedi Bodyguard yes,) but he can lay down some damage on his own which is great.) And I like Chewie, Fearless Scout who can get it from Han, Rebel General but those are both not really answering the question.
As is I've always loved the Human Bodygard, pretty cheap, can combine fire, take a few hits. A nice cheap option.
But Fenn is a great meaty bodyguard who makes Mando Protectors (also some of my favorite BGs) even better.

My favorite is the Vong Ossus Protector, since it is incredibly cheap and extremely durable, not to mention subject to all of the Vong boosts.
I have heard good things about the Houjix, as well.

Human bodyguard is the default for me. Ponda Boba galactic criminal is pretty good as well. My favorite is still the old standby of the RoTS Bodyguard droids. A little expensive I know But I Love them and they can get some wicked bonuses because of SEP affiliation

houjix is the best cost to HP value   human BG s nice too, as he can combine fire to boost a better shooter

Fenn Shysa would be the best on in my opinion, but mostly because of his CE.
If we want to compare a straight up piece with no CE and Bodyguard, then Satele Shan would have my vote. I also like Visas Mar also for the wonderful array of abilities she brings the faction. A great anti stealth piece to have in an OR squad.

Fenn Shysa is the hands down best to me as i am a mando player lol. But coming in behind him definitely are Chewy Rebel Hero and Houjix for his size and hp. Honorable mention though should go to the V-set Ponda Boba and the Human Bodyguard
