The evil Weeks has challenged Darth_Jim to a best of 5 table tennis match Wednesday night at GenCon. Well, it's not at GenCon, it's at the Table Tennis Club of Indianapolis located at 8009-B East Washington St at 6:30pm. If everyone's favorite SHNN host Darth_Jim wins, evil Weeks has to come on the show following GenCon and provide a detailed report of the match, extolling the virtues of the victor. If evil Weeks wins, Darth_Jim has to wear a shirt with Weeks' image on it and a caption that reads "This guy is teaching me how to play ping pong". Want to come watch the fun? Bloomail either Weeks or Darth_Jim. Want to make a prediction? Well, go right ahead...post away.

LOL! I love it! This will be classic.
Now, I've heard that Chaotic Neutral Darth_Jim has a Black Belt in table tennis. What are Evil Weeks' credentials?
Another major factor which will affect my prediction: How many drinks will Evil Weeks have had when the games start?

Unless Weeks made the Olympic team while I wasn't looking, I predict Darth Jim in straight sets with pretty resounding scores so. Weeks will score 3,3, and 5 as my guess.

I play using a Ma Lin style serve with a modified Penhold grip. I use a defensive looper style forehand and a chop backhand for table control. So yeah, I'm not that great :).
I won't be drinking till the game is over. So I might have some chance.

I play using a Seemiller grip, which is a modified shakehand. However, I haven't played in a tournament since 1998, so we'll see if experience can overcome age.

Okay, I predict Jim in straight sets as well. Weeks will gain less than 12pts each match. Sorry buddy, but Darth Jim is a tt-ninja. :)

I don't think it is legal to mail beer. Otherwise I would be in (I'll put a beer on Jim).

My money is on Jim.....but I could forsee him having a not too "handy" accident paying the toll on the turnpike. That is, if I had the right motivation *nudge nudge, wink wink* @Weeks.

Mmmm.........tough call.
Darth Jim did bring us the Teddy Grahams player story from GenCon past.....
.....Weeks helped me a lot on Vassal with rules questions and strategy.....
....but a self-named Sith Lord (Darth Jim) calling Weeks evil but not seeing Sith Lords as evil?!?!?....
...I am going to have to root for Weeks on this one.
(Have a good time both of you, and may all of your scoring come from the table's edge and net rollovers)
