I've got a possible project in mind. But, in order to figure out logistics, I would like to see how many people are interested in an Epic 3 set. To be clear, this will an online only project, as it is financially unfeasible to print another Epic set. However, that doesn't mean support for the formats that involve Epics should be discontinued. The idea is still an idea in my head at the moment, but to go forward, I need to know how many people would be interested, and most likely want to help, with such a project.

Does this mean Epic Jar-Jar is possible? */end troll/joke* I'm interested though I play about as often as JD Sallinger writes books.

I definitely would be interested in another epic set; was that the question, or are you looking for some volunteers for other help?
I'm game either way.

YES! EPIC 3 I WANT! I am totally in support of another Epic set. Out of curiosity, why would it be infeasible to print a new one?

I'm interested, though I have an average playrate of about 1 SWM game every month.
Also, I second the request for an Epic version of Jar-Jar.

Hate to say it CHS but I really don't see it. The others all look good though.

I replied on Gamers already, but I will here too: I'd love to see this happen.
Here's my want-list of epics: Ven Zallow (the jedi from the first SWTOR trailer video) Grandmaster Satele Shan Darth Malgus General Grievous Drizzt Do'Urden Meetra Surik (the unnamed player character Jedi in KOTOR II) Wicket (yes, Wicket)
Okay, maybe 2 of those don't fit....

I'm interested, and will help in any capacity I am suited for, in-depth knowledge of EU character's stories not being one of them. Suggestions: Father, Son, Daughter just going to leave it there oh, wait, I'll add this in after reading TINT's post - Grandmaster Satele Shan (that bit where she stops the lightsaber with her hand was truly epic, need a version of her in the standard game too)

As a TO who frequently encorporates the Epic format into the event schedule, I would like to see more Epics created.
Should an Epic III become a reality, I feel the following dramatis personae need to be realized.
Republic: Obi-Wan Kenobi
Rebellion: Han Solo
NR: Leia Organa Solo
Fringe: Jango Fett or Jabba Desilijic Tiure
Vong: Shedao Shai
Sith: Darth Malak
OR: Vodo-Siosk Baas
Mandalorian: Jaster Mereel
Imperial: Grand Moff Tarkin
CIS: General Grievous or Count Dooku

I guess I'll jump on the bandwagon... I don't disagree with your choices for Republic, Rebellion, Fringe (though Cade would be interesting), or Vong. I guess I'll support your choice of Empire, as well. And I think that Grievous would probably be best for Seps. However, I think that Caedus would probably be best for Sith, the Jedi Exile for OR, Kyle Katarn for New Republic. I'm thinking Canderous over Jaster for Mandos, though I'm not entirely decided on that. (I'd like to make note that I'm interested in a third set regardless of what characters are chosen.)

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm in, and I am so pumped for Epic Set #3. Also, +5 guys that I game with on a weekly basis love the Epic format. I can also talk to the 7-8 other guys that join our group once a month.
1. Obi-Wan ( Took out Maul, Grievous, and Anakin/Darth Vader ). All the current Obi-Wan's are super defensive and Commander prolific, yet we have none that showcase his power in duels and besting these Titans of the Dark Side!
2. Evil Luke Skywalker: In the Dark Empire comic series, Luke single handedly took down AT-AT's, crushing them, bringing them down with the Force!
3. Shaak Ti ; In the video game, Star Wars Unleashed, she went toe to toe with Vader's apprentice, exhibiting super charged Force powers that literally push Galen Marek, nearly to the brink of death!
4. General Grievous ; Trained in lightsaber combat by, Count Dooku, in both SW cartoon series', Grievous was a Force to reckon with. Many Jedi fell to him, evidenced by all the trophy lightsaber hilts hidden inside his cape! Not to mention all the super charged battles of him going toe to toe with Obi-Wan and Anakin, episode after episode!
5. Count Dooku; What can we say about the Makashi Master himself; Trained by the mighty Jedi Master Yoda himself, eventually falling to the Dark side becoming Darth Tyranus, Sidious's apprentice. With many battle wins against many Jedi's and Mandoloriens, Dooku is the battle hardened, veteran lightsaber combat specialist. With wins against Obi-Wan and Anakin, a tie against his former master Yoda, eventually falling to Anakin in a second duel (although putting a hurt on Obi-Wan), Dooku is certainly one of the greatest Jedi's ever!
Please reach out to me and let me know how I can help this online project!

Except Jango Fett Mandalore for mandalorians, Emperor Reborn, NK-1 Necrosis or Darth Nyax for Imperials and Abeloth for Fringe

I've always really enjoyed the Epic Pieces when I've had a chance to play them, in both testing them against other epics and in casual games.
I'd love to see
NR: Cade Skywalker (I just want an uber powerful Cade, either in the NR or Fringe although love the Kyle Katarn thought above.) Republic: Obi-Wan Rebels: Han Solo Sith: Caedus Most of the other factions I like the above suggestions or I don't know enough about them to make an educated suggestion.

One of the difficult things with Epic shooter pieces is that we all know that shooters already have a huge advantage. That is why there is only 1 epic shooter so far: Boba. [Well, Mara is technically a shooter, but generally, if someone uses her to shoot before she LS Assaults an important piece, they are playing her far less effectively.] Epic pieces need to really be epic...that is, they should be the centerpiece of their squads. And nobody is going to pay 100+pts for an ineffective shooter. Don't misunderstand me: I do think it would be cool to see an Epic Han or Epic Jango (or whoever)...but let's recognize that it will be difficult to balance.
Personally, after actually thinking it over, I'm pretty keen on these options (assuming 1/faction):
OR: Satele Shan (fully represent her from the SWTOR trailer) Rep: Anakin (show why he was called the Chosen One) Reb: exiled Obiwan (cool idea), or maybe Han NR: Kyle Katarn (but not Luke...we already have a 115 and a 100pt Luke, plus an excellent 48pt Luke) Sith: Caedus or Naga Sadow or Malgus (so many options here!) Sep: Grievous Imp: Evil Luke (now that sounds cool) Vong: Nas Choka or Shimrra Mando: Canderous Ordo Fringe: Celeste Morne (she was alive for 1000 years with the Muur Talisman, could be a great fringe and/or savage commander), though Cade Skywalker could be cool too
Obviously, I'll work with whatever gets chosen, but I figured I'd throw my suggestions into the mix.
