Here are the Rules:
1. The character must be cannon and from the chosen faction. They can have affinity, but the character must start in the chosen faction.
2. You may update any existing versions you already have and/or create a new one. You may update/create several versions of the character but you must ultimately select 1 you wish to run with. (this must be done by the schedule below)
3. Place a hyperlink in this forum to make it easier to find your character. You can just post the stats or image here but if changes are needed it would be easier (and save space) if you just used a Hyperlink (If you don't know how to post Hyperlinks in a forum setting please ask and we will help you. It's not hard )
4. Please rate the characters in this contest, however don't be so base as to 1 bomb the other characters in this contest. This is a friendly contest, just have fun, be honest and do your best.
5. Voting will look like this: "I rated so-and-so(A) an 8, so-and-so(B) an 9, and so-and-so(C) a 7. My vote goes to so-and-so(B). (this vote counts as 1 point) Please feel free to comment on why you made your choice, (what you liked) or not and just put your scores.
6. Too make things fair you must vote in order to win the contest. You must vote for all characters entered in the contest and you may not rate or vote for your own character.
7. The character that is rated the highest in the Bloo Milk rating system will receive a bonus of 2 points. The winner will be decided by how many points they receive (for example: so-and-so(B) received 3 individual votes and received the bonus 2 for being the highest rated character for a total of 5 points)
8. you may not change or update the entered character AFTER the deadline (from Tuesday-Thursday you may get advice and change your character accordingly) Friday at midnight before any votes are cast is the deadline.

The schedule will be like this: Monday the winner of last weeks CCC will announce his choice for the character (including his faction), from Tuesday till Friday characters can be created/updated but on Friday you must have picked one character to submit. Then voting will be held on Saturday, Sunday and Monday until 4, Monday night the winner will be announced and the next character picked.

Yes, GBC, he is BigGrin (and, aren't all Wookiees?). This guy was in my second set, I just had to make him. As far as my custom goes, I considered that his CE might be a bit crazy (such as, Kit Fisto can already get a 32 def in cover, situationally) paired with GOWK, but that IS 115 points for just the two pieces.

My version Master Tyvokka is a lower costed version focusing on his Intuitiveness and his role as a teacher.

Here is my attempt.

I attempted to make a version that didn't draw in plo koon. I also tried to dance around the idea of "sense the future" but not give him the actual FP. I have a couple of wild swings in there and an original FP which is normally boom or bust. I noticed all the snazzy names were taken and Saber and I had the same name at one point. I dropped it to be simply "Tyvokka" since there isn't an actual Tyvokka piece the name is available. I thought I'd drop the "Wookie of the Year" part off.BigGrin HP high, mid range attack and a low D with no way to defend against shots (fitting since this is how he died). Left off momentum because he has cunning and General Skywalker can give it to him if one wanted to.

Without reading the comics, I did the best I could. I hope you enjoy it.

Tyvokka, Jedi Master

Agreed, Wookiees are fun. I haven't read the comics either, but hey, it's a Wookiee. How difficult can it be?

Edit: This is too cool a character not to have more back story. Let's go, Disney!

A fun challenge to figure out how to represent him, especially given that I prefer to make character that offer a somewhat more unique play style.

Here's what I came up with:

Take a look at wookieepedia. There isn't much on him and as a Wookiee there is plenty of species-specific precedent. Give it a try, we'd all like to see what you come up with.

pegolego's Tyvokka, Wookiee Jedi Master 9
I thought he had that Defense boost for Wookiees in his CE too (unless you took it off) This guy is the first Tyvokka I saw and thus all others will basically be judged by how they stand upto this character. (other factors too of course) The way he fights is very wookiee-esk and I'm amused by Immobilizing Rend leaving you enemy broken and bleeding after you run him over. *Help I can't get up*

poppins88's Tyvokka, Foreseer
Camraderie giving any Plo Koon Shien Style Mastery is very powerful, also very fitting and I doubt it would make him overpowered at all. Your Juyo Style isn't my cup of tea, nor is it's use of it on him. (though that fighting style does represent the wookiees very well, so no lost points there) I like everything else on him, except I think you could afford to lose Lightsaber Assualt. 9.25

Deathwielded's Master Tyvokka
Mine. Mellow

Gungan Batman Clone's Tyvokka, Jedi High Council Member 8.75
I like Force Bond and what it gives, Synergy isn't really needed on Koon IMO. I would like to see his force powers cut down some. The HP could come down too. Cleave and Lightsaber Sweep are good choices. The CE seems alittle strong and probably isn't necessary in the faction with the most movement breakers.

donnyrides' Tyvokka 8
Personally I think you made him alittle too strong. Force Crush is interesting, difficult to work out (having to somehow mark that square) but I like it

saber1's Tyvokka, Jedi Master 8.75
Impulsive Splash 10 is sweet, Melee Reach 2 is a stretch (sorry couldn't resist) But I like it on a wookiee.
Force Vision could be very helpful, though honestly I don't much care for him to have renewal.
I personally don't care for him to have Jedi Reflexes, nor for him to give it out to adjacent allies with a force rating. Very cool though.

Lord_Ball's Tyvokka, Chief Negotiator 9.5
I don't care for Insight, I think it's too strong. Calm is very clever and I like everything else on him

CerousMutor's Jedi Master Tyvokka 8
I'm glad you did decide to give him a go. Smile Intuition is good and Force Tutor could be quite awesome, but I would limit it to a single ally.

My vote goes to Lord_Ball's version this week.

pegolego's Tyvokka, Wookiee Jedi Master 8.75
Sort of like a Wookiee GenSky, could have just done a commander Gree type CE and given them squad defense.

poppins88's Tyvokka, Foreseer 8.5
More of a beatstick here than a foreseer, have a potential for 100 damage in 2 attacks.

Deathwielded's Master Tyvokka 8.75
Nicely balanced, though without renewal he is a little defenseless.

donnyrides' Tyvokka 8.75
Intuition + Cunning is good, and he can be hit.

saber1's Tyvokka Jedi Master 9.25
Cool with CE and with Melee Reach, Cleave could get interesting.

Lord Ball's Tyvokka, Chief Negotiator 9.25
Calm and Insight are nice abilities, Insight is especially good if you really want to get to that far away piece, but would go through a lot of attacks of opportunities to get there.

CerousMutor's Jedi Master Tyvokka 9.25
A little underpriced considering the CE, and rage with intuition.

My vote goes to Lord Ball.

pegolego, Wookiee Jedi Master 9
GMA + Momentum + Immobilizing Rend is a pretty potent combination, nicely balanced by a somewhat high cost lack of Renewal and an underwhelming CE considering the other + defense options in the Republic.

poppins88, Forseer 9
Interesting take on Juyo, with 30 base Damage, CB and LSA he'd be a frightening recipient of Force Spirit.

Master Deathwielded 8.75
Interesting combination of Abilities, makes a nice supplemental piece.

Gungan Batman Clone, Jedi High Council Member 8.75
Some very nice Plo Koon boosts, the CE is strong so limiting it to within 6 would be preferred. Granted Mas is in about every Rep squad, but making CEs rangeless means you potentially save an extra 8 points.

donnyrides 8.75
Interesting approach to avoiding the popular go to "Sense the Future". Tactician + Cunning + Intuition is a great combination. and Force Crush is a cool addition.

saber1, Jedi Master 9
Impulsive Splash is a cool semi-flavorful choice, and Force Vision is great. The only issue I see is given that Jedi Reflexes is an AoO ability it loses a lot when restricted to adjacent.

Jedi Master CerousMutor 8.25
Overall a good attempt especially for a character you don't know. I would suggest regular Makashi over Mastery since he wasn't really a known practitioner of Makashi (he certainly could've been though). Other than the the combination of Force Tutor and Force Rage I don't particularly care for.

Tyvokka, Foreseer (poppins88) 9
Brutal offensive monster, with a strong boost to Plo Koon... Sense the Future with Renewal could be fun. This piece is POWERFUL but balanced by a lack of defensive abilities (fitting).

Master Tyvokka (deathwielded) 9
I didn't expect to see a low cost Tyvokka, but this one rocks! I MIGHT raise the cost a bit though, because for only 14 points more than the Dark Woman, you get StF, and a much more powerful piece.

Tyvokka, Jedi High Council Member (Gungan Batman Clone) 10
Very flavorful piece, if a bit heavy on SA's... I like the treatment you gave here.

Tyvokka (donnyrides) 10
I LOVE this one! Tactician and Cunning are excellent additions. My ONLY gripe might be that Crush isn't too useful...

Tyvokka, Jedi Master (saber1) 10
Jedi Reflexes is very flavorful and cool here (VERY powerful with MR2, but I like it!). Handing it out in the CE is also very powerful, but it's balanced by the adjacent only restriction. Force Vision is a great force ability representation of NTMtO! Impulsive Splash is cool; some would argue a bit unoriginal, with the Wookiee Jedi having Splash, but I like it a lot here all the same!

Tyvokka, Chief Negotiator (Lord Ball) 9
Another powerful movement option for the republic. The CE is nice, and Insight can make Kybuck even more brutal! Calm is a cool idea.

Jedi Master Tyvokka (CerousMutor) 8
Force Tutor is interesting. I notice right off the bat that this has low HP as far as Wookiee's are concerned, but you gave some good defensive abilities. I would go with Deflect instead of Defense though, since he already has Makashi. Force Rage is nice, and the CE is pretty cool (with GOWK though, +8/+8 with just a few allies around... Even GOWK himself can get +16/28 now... I don't know...)

My vote goes to donnyrides this week; nice representation and a creative take on Tyvokka! BlooMilk

Hello All, I am super strapped for time this week so I can't give a proper evaluation of your work. It was a hard week since their is such little web intel to help build off of. In the end I vote for the wookiee splash damage build by Saber1. Very cool Idea for a wookiee with a LS just ripping things apart.

Edit Time: scores stay the same, but I would not be contributing if I didn't try to share my thoughts...

pegolego, Wookiee Jedi Master 9
Edit - I like the GMA/DBL and the Wookiee staple "momentum". I noticed that you are one of the few that went with 20 damage over the expected 30, curve ball?? I like the idea behind the CE since the wiki gives us the situation of his last battle, but i get scared away from by the idea that he could be a 33 in cover (maybe more) with GOWK and Koon.
Very good concept though.

poppins88, Forseer 9
EDIT- Very nice piece here too. Powerful both with D20 and 140 HP but with all his attack powers with assault, momentum and renew he's a wrecking crew. Very powerful, Very nice, that combo could be reason for a slight point increase IMO

Master Deathwielded 8.75
EDIT- Stats are reasonable for a 35 point piece I don't like Tutor or FV2 considering it can be broadcast to the entire board with mas. I do like intuition and I like a solid force 5 over renew.

Gungan Batman Clone, Jedi High Council Member 8.5
EDIT- There is too much going on for me on this one. From the wiki, the koon and sense the future were used too much. With some fine tuning, this piece could be really cool.

Lord Ball Chief Negotiator 9
EDIT- I really like rage and calm. very creative. Don't like deflect since he died from droid fire.

saber1, Jedi Master 10
EDIT- Reach 2, splash, momentum, no "low hanging fruit" as I like to say with abilities and force powers. I love this piece. I envision a destructive beast with a giant swing with those long wookiee arms dropping crushing blows to everything in sight. Very cool piece. Nice work. I have no plans to drop many 10s so that speaks to how much I like this piece.

Jedi Master CerousMutor 8.5
EDIT- Just a bit unpolished. From your Anakin build, I know you just weren't felling it this time because your Anakin was really good. A few more HP, I don't like Tutor without enough lore to back it up. I really like Makeshi as bit of research on his bent hilted LS but mastery on a 40 point piece doesn't feel right. (I dislike all mastery abilities though) I know we will get your A game next week

Tyvokka, Wookiee Jedi Master by pegolego 9
The stats look good and the price is reasonable (but high enough to prevent synergy from Cin Drallig Crying ). Double/GMA/Momentum is a very nice combo and tossing in Immobilizing Rend is both fresh and accurate to the species. The CE, while thematically accurate, might be difficult to pull off and doesn’t seem original given similar CEs from Obi and Yoda. My main complaint is the utter lack of defense. At 150 HP he is stout, to be sure, but a 19 Def and absolutely no defensive abilities make reliance on the faction’s movement-breaking options a must.

Tyvokka, Foreseer by poppins88 9
Stats are at expected levels. Juyo looks well designed even if a bit of creative license has been taken due to lack of supporting material. Camaraderie is very powerful but it’s nice to see Plo get some better longevity. A lack of GMA requires inclusion of Cin in the squad or burning FPs on LSA (which precludes use of Brutal Strike). That’s an interesting choice built in, moot once he bases an opponent. Like I said above, an utter lack of defensive abilities gives me pause on a 50+ point piece.

Master Tyvokka, by Deathwielded 8.5
The lowest stats thus far and certainly the lowest price. The last part makes me wonder if it is appropriate. For 35 points, you get Jolee Bindo and The Dark Woman rolled up into one with more HP and damage output than either. Intuition was a good choice and StF was an easy pick. I’m glad to see some form of defensive capabilities included. Unfortuately, there isn’t much here that feels like a Wookiee other than, well, Wookiee.

Tyvokka, Jedi High Council Member by Gungan_Batman_Clone 9.25
I’m glad to see you raised the cost and it looks like you landed in a reasonable place. Cleave is a nice choice to represent his Wookieeness. The Plo Koon love is appreciated, especially going old school with a base stat bump through Synergy. LSReflect is an uncommon choice but it makes sense and gives him some ability to withstand shooters long enough to accomplish something. LSSweep is fitting with his long, hairy arms. That’s a pretty bold CE, especially in a faction that already has plenty of movement. It would have been better to change to a single target of the CE, I feel. “At the end of this character’s turn, choose an ally with a Force rating. Until the end of the next round, that ally gains Surprise Move.” Sorry I didn’t think of this before the voting period began.

Tyvokka by donnyrides 9.25
Lowest Def rating yet! That’s almost in the dreaded “Dash Rendar” territory. Fortunately, unlike many other entries, he has defensive capabilities. Makashi, not exactly the first LSStyle I think of when I picture a Wookiee Jedi, is nonetheless quite useful. Cunning is a new choice in this week’s contest and Intuition is a nice pick. Tactician +4, while useful, is a bit of a stretch, but not a deal breaker by any means. Force Crush is very cool. Keeping track of its effects can easily be solved by placing a token (penny?) on the square in question. Its use will be limited on some maps (perhaps to 0), while being of extreme strategic value on others. Either way, it is very creative and I appreciate bringing in more terrain interaction to the game.

Tyvokka, Jedi Master by saber1
Best darn custom Jawa Force user ever.

Tyvokka, Chief Negotiator by Lord_Ball 9.25
I really like the interaction and species flavor of Indiscriminate Rage and Calm. Without Calm, I’d ding your score because I don’t see a Council Member having IR alone. Unless I missed something, this is the only entry thus far with base 20 damage. Not as cool, but certainly within the realm of believability. As mentioned previously, Intuition is a good choice. Anticipation is another nice pick. I like the inclusion of LSDeflect for a bit of survivability. Insight, the signature ability, reminds me of a limited Sith Battle Manipulation. It also reminds me of my own Jedi Crowd Manipulation. I don’t think it is too powerful. With all the movement going on with this piece, especially in the Republic, the CE feels unnecessary at best and over-the-top at worst.

Jedi Master Tyvokka by Cerous Mutor 9
Lowy-low-low HP for a unique Wookiee but with Makashi Style Mastery I understand your reasoning. Sorry I didn’t see this sooner but LSDefense is a 50% redundancy with MSM. I’d drop it in favor or Deflect of Reflect. Force Rage is cool, the CE is meh. Glad to see Intuition here.

In my mind, it comes down to GBC, donnyrides and LB. GBC's entry offered some unusual tricks that still managed to fit the character with the potential for a very good, yet balanced, CE. donnyride's offering might have been the roughest of the three, but Force Crush is very appealing as I've wanted the game to include more terrain interaction for a very long time. LB's version has some nicely sorted abilities with well-considered synergy. In the end, the ability to remove hiding places from Stealthy shooters is too tempting and I'm geeking out trying to envision all the ways it can be employed. Imagine using Intuition to get LoS on a Cloaked shooter in Low Objects square. Using Qui-Ghost to ensure you win initiative, crush the shooter's square and unleash your shooters on the poor sap. That could be a lot of fun.
VOTE: donnyrides' Tyvokka. (Bonus ThumpUp for having the easiest name to type)
