August 31st (Monday)

Play starts at 6:30pm - $5 entry

Big Kids: 100-point constructed DCI
Little Kids: 150-point constructed DCI

It is recommended that everyone be prepared to play either point level, in case our numbers are too low for each group to have a good tourney by themselves...

Jim brought back LOTS of goodies from Gencon! Woot
Thank you Godfather BlooMilk

DCI schedule for September...TBA

Other: Saturday, September 5th - Little Egypt Wars

Stay tuned BlooMilk

I got map pack 1 in from JediCart last week so I will bring all my maps from that and pack 2. We have a target date yet?

Not yet Sad

Scott told me last night there are two tournaments going on this coming sunday (7/12) so no room for us to even play...

I'm not sure I can get it together by the 19th... super busy with other things.
Sigh...

What time does your open play usually start on Sunday's. My buddy and I are interested in playing in that team thing. It's a good 2hr clip for us to come out though so times would help in scheduling.

We usually start at 1:30pm and play until the store closes around 5-5:30 pm. Where you coming from?

Will try to get things figured out as to whether we can run this on the 26th a.s.a.p.

Will round up as many warm bodies as possible at our DCI night this Monday 7/20.

Keep an eye on this thread - glad you're interested! ThumpUp

You guys should try to come Sept 5th for the big convention being held at the civic center. That should be huge. I'm not sure of the format yet.

From what I have heard so far, there will be Dynamic Duo in the morning, 150-point DCI constructed in the afternoon, and I'm not sure about the evening.

I think Scott has me down as the judge of record for the evening event, but Carl had mentioned running something, so I'll talk to him. Maybe that would be a good time to do a team thing - we'll have plenty of space at the Civic Center Cool

2 Questions for you guys.

A. What is the point level for this coming Monday?
B. Is the brawl going down on Sunday, and if so, arriving at 2 will my friend and I be too late to participate?

A. - shoot, not really sure, but I'll find out and post it tomorrow (thursday)

B. - afraid the brawl will have to be postponed. I'm gonna talk to our LGS owner and GM about getting that (or a similar team thing) event off the ground. Maybe at the Little Egypt Wars on September 5th. Post or PM me if you think you might come down that day - more interest will make it more likely to happen BlooMilk

I just e-mailed our group to find out about Monday...

If we get the St. Louis guys, your group and Owensboro along with ours we are going to have a huge gathering. I would not doubt it can easily get well over 30 players. Our normal Monday group is over 20 right now.

Thanks for having us again! It was definately a lot of fun and good to see and play against some new faces. Hopefully we can get more of the STL area people to come down for September's Con. And just remember, you guys are always welcome to come up here. If you're wondering what we run just send a PM to either Spryguy1981 or myself and we'll be glad to fill you in.

I wouldn't mind coming up there for some big events. Any chance you can post them here? I work nights during the week so I can usually only make the weekend events unless I take some time off work.

BTW Moses from WoTC runs our group so we are lucky. We usually have some nice prize support. Our LGS owner does a pretty good job of supplying stuff as well. He is the one putting the Con together.
