So this week I want to see some new stuff from Luke's Jedi Order that we haven't seen yet. So the task is to make any piece without a representation in Luke's Jedi Order. Examples include Octa Ramis, Tresina Lobi, Valin Horn, etc.
Rules
1. The character must be canon (Legends OK) and from the chosen faction when required. They can have affinity, but the character must start in the chosen faction.
2. You may update any existing versions you already have and/or create a new one. You may update/create several versions of the character but you must ultimately select 1 you wish to run with. (this must be done by the schedule below)
3. Place a hyperlink in this forum to make it easier to find your character. You can just post the stats or image here but if changes are needed it would be easier (and save space) if you just used a Hyperlink (If you don't know how to post Hyperlinks in a forum setting please ask and we will help you. It's not hard )
4. Voting works as follows, pick your three favorite customs based on accuracy to the character, design, balance or whatever you decide makes the best incarnation of the challenge character. First place receives 3 points, 2nd place receives 2 points, and 3rd place receives 1 point.
5. You do not have to enter the contest in order to vote. But unless you enter you must have at lest 10 forum posts.
6. To make things fair you must vote in order to win the contest. You must choose three characters entered in the contest and you may not rate or vote for your own character.
7.. The winner will be decided by how many points they receive. Ties will be broken by most 1st place votes, then if still tied, 2nd place votes and then 3rd place votes. If still tied, then the outcome is a tie.
8. You may not change or update the entered character AFTER the deadline.
You will have until Sat, July 15, 2017 @8pm EST to get your submissions in. Anything submitted after this point will not be included in the voting.
Voting will start at 8pm on Saturday evening and end at 10pm EST on Monday, July 17, 2017. At the conclusion of the voting the scores will be tallied and the winner will start a new topic with his/her choice of theme.

http://www.bloomilk.com/Custom/28102/jedi-master-lar-leungBig fan of this guy. I love epic last stands, and I think this is a nice time to use Force Valor, but also provide a Disruptive counter. (NR not having Booming Voice just adds to it - he actually has to be nearby for his boosts to come into play). For those not familiar with him, he was a Jedi Master at Luke's Jedi Praxeum. When the Yuuzhan Vong War started, Lar Le'ung was given command of New Republic troops tasked with distracting the Vong while Luke rescued the refugees. The Vong were using a massive snake that actually emanated fear, and was routing the NR troops, but Lar Le'ung rallied the troops to continued fighting... for about 5 seconds, and then he got stabbed in the back by a Vong Warrior But still... can't beat that for epic! (Oh, and Finn Galfridian took up his lightsaber to continue the fight, and Luke later officially gifted it to him)

I submit the following for your consideration this week; Desann. (kindly disregard the title descriptor "dark jedi", the character name should now read solely as "Desann" hehe) It would have been Tavion, but technically she wasn't part of Luke's order so much as Desann's apprentice. Above: Desann in the JK:JA continuity, was the reason that Luke briefly abandoned his new jedi order. not some "Dark Kilogram" amalgam of Ben Skywalker and Jacen Solo hehe I have a miniature of Desann also, desann is on a large 2 x 2 base, same as a Yuzzem or a Togorian Soldier.
EDIT: following some playtesting, a couple of tweaks have been suggested - thanks this errata will fine-tune desann hehe. please disregard the Commander Effect section entirely, add in the SA section: Rapport - this character costs 1 less while in a squad with Luke Skywalker. Impulsive Sweep - this character makes an immediate lightsaber sweep attack when a unique force user is defeated. The rest remains unchanged.

What is "Lightsaber Style Mastery"?

koba, just take that card as a foundation and "recreate" him in the Custom Character creator to fix the minor issues: Name Faction (NR since he's affiliated with Luke at this time) Lightsaber Style Mastery CE (probably drop it all together, but at least the Tavion part)
Then I'd say you have a solid entry. As is, with suggested name change, he doesn't feel quite right (due to him being designed around after leaving the order).

@saber1 an excellent question, and after checking with the locals who helped me complete it, with phil who compiled the statcard (thanks phil! top work) the ol' exegetical local rules and past threads, as per the week with that Yoda Journeyman,
the Lightsaber Style Mastery glossary is; "each time this character activates, declare and choose a lightsaber form style mastery. this character is considered to have that ability on their statcard for all purposes until its next activation. This includes involuntary abilities which may activate a character, such as Force Dominate, Internal Strife, Impulsive Betrayal etc" so, you can switch the lightsaber style each turn, to best suit your strategy or bluff. squaring off against other jedi? Makashi Style Mastery. lots of ranged? Soresu Style Mastery. exactly 1 within 6 squares? Ataru.
some have only style, Lightsaber Style Proficiency or "Adaptable Combatant"/"Versatile Forms Fighting" etc you can only select from style grade instead. though some have style mastery. if you're involuntarily activated, your opponent can set that style.
it's tricky to cost, because it can be potentially broken, however, it's balanced by involuntary acts nerfing the character on the turn they attack, such as Whills Ghosts possessing, or Sith Holocrons/Lords etc. its currently a +8points ability, with + synergy meta cost on attacks or conditionals.
its also tricky for "Force Power Mastery" - after set up, choose and declare 3 force powers. Spend 4 force points, activate: you may re-select a lightside force power of grade 2 or higher. the chosen ability could be cruddier than the one you initially had, but situationally more useful... Penrose-Wisleki numbers might be needed hehe.
Force Power Proficiency and Darkside Force Mastery/Darkside Force Proficiency are also tricky to cost for that same reason.

voting time: it's looking like I might be indisposed interstate in the voting window, so I'll have to vote a few hours earlier than the voting window. better a bit early than never hehe. with that in mind, it was tricky to distill it, as there were a lot of awesome themed submissions. 1st: Saber1's "Aquinos" Iron Knight. its a jedee, it's a droid, it's awesome. 2nd: Jak's "Illum" iron knight. This is a completely different take again, and a more offensive threat. really fleshes out the faction. 3rd: Lord Ball's Ben Solo: a great take on a pre-fall Darth Kilogram . this has a lot of synergy with other Resistance pieces. thanks, this week had a lot of ideas explored, I'm hoping we'll see more explorations on that.

1 CC Other that maybe a bit high on the FPs, I'm not seeing anything bad here.
2 jen'ari I was thinking about doing this character before I settled on Ben, and had an idea for him that I will comment after voting is over.
3 GG I think Channeled Push could use a bit of work, but overall not bad

Haha almost late for voting... if I'm not already 1st: saber1's Aqinos, Jedi Master: First and foremost, I love how you just instantly created the Iron Knight subfaction, and with style. I like the idea of just plopping in Magnaguards to become Iron Knights. Also, I like Aqinos's stats - nothing too crazy, just straightforward and useful. Defensive stance is a nice touch, and good suite of Force powers. 2nd: Lord Ball's Ben Solo: I love the simplicity of the piece. Again, nothing too crazy going on, but his abilities all work together nicely. Also, you've got some great subtle flavor going on here - Dark Temptation is an obvious choice, but just the simple fact that you gave him 1 starting Force, Cunning Attack, and Surprise Move, just gives me this great mental image of an aspiring young Ben Solo, Jedi Knight. 3rd: spryguy's Wurth Skidder: This guy is great! Solid statline, good force powers (no Renewal is nice in NR). Love the abilities. Forward positioning is cool (I like the plot reference - had to look it him up on Wook), and I love seeing Impulsive Reprisal. (VERY close tie for 2nd, by the way) Great job guys! Really enjoyed this one!
