Haven't found any topic on this play mode so here it is!
I'm starting a competition on the Dynamic Duo format soon with a bunch of friends. We've managed to try a couple of combinations already.
Please share your experiences and favorite duos in here.
So far my personnal favorite is Darth Tyrannus LotDS and Durge, JH.
Also seen a good duo with Mace Windu and Aurra Sing.
Peace

57 Boba Fett, Mercenary Commander 43 Kreia
this is one of my favs...works well with a good accurate shooter and a melee beat

Kreia is something weird here... because of Betrayal!
If Boba Fett, BH is not legal because of Disintegrate I believe she shouldn't be legal also.
Game changing event if your opponent rolls a 1 while attaking her!

My favorite combo is
General Windu 72 Dash Rendar RS 28
Dash with six attacks is scary plus Windu is still a great Beat stick.

Will try that one.
Sounds interesting with Plagueis being able to deal a lot of direct damage. He should survive longer against beatsticks with parry.
In the Windu/Sing combo, Aurra Sing has been the biggest offensive threat.

Cade Skywalker, Bounty Hunter 61 Wolf Sazen 39
I have had good success with this duo also
Warmaster Tsavong Lah 63 Aurra Sing 37
Warmaster doesn't do a ton of damage but he is a pain to take down and Aurra can really light up her opponent.

I here the Luke Skywalker and Yoda plus Chewbacca, Rebel Hero makes a pretty nasty combo. Looking at the list it seems Loda has three partners they can work well together with in DD. Of course when one piece represents two pieces what do you expect.
Jedi Master Luke has two partners to work with and either can be useful. The Ossus Guardian should get a lot of milage out if its Force Immunty and Jedi Hunter considering about 80% of the usable pieces over 50 points are Force Users.
Perhaps the most unusally pairing would be the Blizzard Scout and the X-1 Viper as both are huge with mounted weapons. Additionally neither is a Force User which is rare in the format and only BS is unique. Its too bad all the lightsabers in the format and tight maps will make their DR/Molecular Shielding worthless and Rigid would keep them pinned down.
It may be me but I think Durge Jedi Hunter, who'd get paired with DTLotDS or Maris Brood, could be the spoiler against the formats power pieces. By my count there are 56 pieces over 50 points and of them 42 are both unique AND force users which pushes Durge's triple attacks to +17/30 while only 5 avoid both Bounty Hunter and Jedi Hunter with most of those being under 55 points.

Here is a sick pair. Fel Cor 52 Canderous Ordo 48 They each have triple attack and regeneration, Canderous has base 30 damage and the fel cor has Parry. Looks like a nice pair good for shooters and melee, it does suck that the Fel Cor is huge but its not that big of a deal.

That combo was destroying my own Roan Fel / Kreia duo, until Boba betrayed against my Kreia on what would have been the death blow. Guess what happened next It is a very good combo - Cloaked Triple Attacker w/Flurry and an absolute beast shooter. Nasty. I think I'll run that one next time we do a DD event

That's a good question on the betrayal being illegal. I wonder why Boba was made illegal while Kreia and Palp are not. They have as much of a chance to take out your opponent in one blow but they one up Boba and take control of your piece.

Having tried Loda / Chewbacca and tought they lacked the dmg output to be a dominant duo. Loda is really good defensively tough, I believe he'd be better off with Han Solo to deal more dmg.
Played yesterday and tried 58 Boba Fett, Mercenary / 42 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Master. Boba here is definitely great fo DD format, Illusion giving him an edge. Obi-Wan proved to be a little useless, I'll try and replace him with Darth Nihl who's gonna keep everyone away from Boba while he blasts them down. xD
My friend used a Cade Skywalker, BH wich he had bought an hour earlier combined with Luke LotLS and it proved to be really effective.
Peace

Master Kota 55 Jensaarai Defender 45
Very high defenses and tons of hit points, Defender get +3/+3 from Kota to give him a base defense of 24

They have as much of a chance to take out your opponent in one blow but they one up Boba and take control of your piece. Betrayal and disintegration are not equivalent. As stated before most figures in this format have FPs, which all you to reroll if you roll a 1. That and Kreia/Palps aren't great pieces in and of themselves, Kreia is overcosted and Palps for his cost isn't that great in DD. Boba is incredibly cost efficient. Disintegration can really only be partially countered by 1 Duo that Iknow of and that is Loda/Chewie because of Force Alter and Bodyguard. My favorite duo so far is Cade BH and Ani Sith Apprentice.
