EDIT: NVM, he had accurate already. Still not useful.

Thanks for the info! Got a link though?

Not bad. I don't know if I would say he is 35 points good, but not bad. I still will have to say I am turning more toward Cad Bane even at the higher cost.

here is the quote from the description from wizards:

Quote:
He grants a good ability with his commander effect that is useful in any game. It is not limited by range so his followers will be able to move away from him and let him stay in cover. However it is limited to only followers with Pirate in their name and at this time the only piece this applies to is the Corellian Pirate who already has that ability. Makes you wonder if we will be seeing more of his crafty pirate crew soon......

possible spoilers for future sets?

thoughts?

It may be referencing the Weequay pirate that's also in GaW.

Thanks for the links. They have an official preview for Asajj too.

Arrr...WOTC really missed the boat on this one. They should have released the Hondo preview on Saturday, when it was international Talk Like a Pirate Day!

It mentions using Ohnaka with Thrawn to help him get all of his SA's while staying out of the turmoil. I would have to say that he is only going to be worth his 35 points to stay alive if you have him with a commander who swaps. Also giving him opportunist helps make up for the times when you aren't able to get off Cunning attack.

At the same time, I don't think it would be a bad idea to put him with the new Obi for an extra attack. Then you can either keep him behind Obi, so if anyone attacks, they have to shoot through SSM and a 26 defense (as long as you keep Obi Wan in cover). Then there's also always the option of allowing him access to R2 astramech or swap in the Republic squad.

I'm starting to see some decent uses to Ohnaka.BigGrin

His CE is a big disapointment. However, he is a great mid range shooter.

That CE is completely meh, but I'm not going to sneeze at +14 for 50 damage. And he has that magical 10 damage printed on the card... Czerka time. Not bad.

I don't really like him. He is kinda like a more expensive Atton Rand with no Jedi Hunter and a worthless CE.

Um, what card are you looking at? :)

He's not a bad shooter, but fragile. At least he's cheap - he could work with FlObi-Wan (Obi-Wan w/ Flight).
