Due to availability...which is almost none for the VRs...prices have skyrocketed.
I just sold a bunch of minis as basement prices compared to what is on Ebay right now. I'm all out though. No worries as long as they went to players who would use them!
If you are selling, you are in a good spot. Buying...eh...

]Thanks for replying. I seen the first 3 sets on ebay for ridiculous prices compared to back in the day. Guy had clone strike listed at $1,800. I was kinda shocked. A few years back someone offered me $1,300 on here for my full collection. I won't say any names but I knew it w was a low ball offer. I'm wonder what the true price of a full collection really is. I get that to some it's worth more but there should be an average price range. I also wonder if prices will continue to rise or will eventually fall.

SWM is a long out of print game. I'm frankly shocked that CoolStuff still gets regular restocks. Scalpers are also gonna scalp. There's a reason a Revan mini goes for 120$+. Mega popular character, only a single one ever made, scalpers wet dream (nevermind that he's not actually good in game). I suppose your choice is sell now, or diamond hands it and hope to get more later. Just remember eventually prices will go so high no one will be willing to pay. Then you have to low ball yourself just to move the pieces. Me personally, I'll never sell, my collection means too much to me, from every Arcona Smuggler up to Warmaster Tsavong Lah.

Odd that war master Tsavong lah is what you list as your top, but to each their own I suppose.

prices are getting way up there I paid $62 for Boba BH in 2010; and didn't lose money when I sold him, a few years ago.
If your planning on using Vassal, why not sell 'em all, and make a few bucks

There are many things more important than money. When I look at my beautiful custom made SWM shelving system with 1000s of SWM lined up on them, it fills me with joy.
I know many people that sold and regret it. Some are even trying to build the collection back up after selling. Rough time to do it.
I don’t know anyone who regrets keeping their collection.
If I ever became in danger of being homeless, or literally didn’t have money to eat. Those would be the only times I’d really consider selling.

remember what sellers ASK for is meaningless what the items SELL for is all that matters

I am not really that interested in selling tbh, but if someone wanted to give me $150 for Tsavong then I would probably do it since I don't ever play vong, and therefore wouldn't miss that guy much and am no where near a complete collection and probably won't ever be at this point.

I sold 1/2 my collection recently to pay bills for a couple months. One of those “had to” moments. I don’t regret it as it helped pay for some medical stuff. They are just plastic toys after all. I still have almost complete Republic and Separatist and all Fringe. So I can still play in person. Vassal is great if I need access to all the characters.
