Greetings everyone! This post is announcing this year's 10th Sunday Regional! Creatively titled: DECEMBER SUNDAY REGIONAL!!!ALL ARE WELCOME, regardless of geography!!! Please let me know in this thread if you plan on playing. I'll have a running list No restrictions or requirements this month, just legal 200pt squads Additional request - Have a Discord account! It is FREE! It is super handy! We can all chat in the main room between games. You can check out other people's games if you finish early (and hear them talk!) Not required, but strongly encouraged! Squads and map selections can be PMed to TimmerB123 anytime after Thursday November 11th (I will PM a neutral party my squad before then). Please send squad link, copy/paste of squad, map, and DISCORD NAME (with the # and 4 digits) *Registration ENDS December 12th at 12:30pm central time (please save your squad on vassal beforehand for efficiency) *Rounds begin promptly at 1:30pm central time (2:30pm Eastern). {Please gather in Vassal and Discord by 10 minutes before the start time} Gameplay in each round will last exactly 75 minutes. Each player is responsible for timing their own games. Players are expected to set up and be ready to start at a reasonably fast pace to keep the tournament moving. Number of Swiss (initial) rounds depend on number of participants. <8 = 3 rounds, cut to top 2 (or just straight 4 rounds of Swiss, decided based on numbers) 9-16 = 4 rounds, cut to top 4 17-32 = 5 rounds (very optimistic here), cut to top 4 There will be a break after round three, unless people want a break at another time. -- MaplistWe will be using the new restricted map list for 2021-2022. All of the maps are available on Vassal now (8/13), so make sure to Download version 22.1 here. Quote:Imperial Garrison Asteroid Base Cloud City Gangster's Vault Desert Marketplace Imperial Checkpoint Oceanic Facility Royal Militia HQ NOTE: Again, please make sure we all have the updated version (link above) in place and tested before the day of the tournament, so things run smoothly. ALSO NOTE: Players will be responsible for knowing all errata, floor rules, etc. (Including the latest change to rigged detonators!) http://www.bloomilk.com/Forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=31469) Changes can be found here: http://www.bloomilk.com/Forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=20395and here: http://www.bloomilk.com/Forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=28568This will be an official Star Wars™ Miniatures SWMGPA (Star Wars Miniatures Gamers Players Association) sacnctioned event. Count me in, most likely. I'll let you know as soon as I do, if I can't participate that day.

I'd like to play, but I have plans 5 hours after the tournament starts. I'm not sure how that would play out.

I've often had a hard end-time for these events, as well. We've always found a way to make it work, so I'd encourage you to just sign up and we'll make it work.

I turned in my squad to a neutral party, so you can turn yours in to me at any time.

I'll do my best to be available by then. If I'm not online not right at that time, then I likely will be shortly after that.

OK, we haven't heard from Udorian84, who typically had the conflict earlier on Sundays. It looked like everyone else would be better off starting a little earlier.
I'm gonna go ahead and say that we'll do a round robin style again, so just like last month we can be flexible. Each player plays every other player, no playoffs.
So we'll start at 11:30 central, but don't stress if you can't be there until later. We'll do the best we can to get all the games in.
At the end of the day, just happy to play Minis! It feels like everyone else is on the same page.

Sorry everyone, been super busy. I cannot play on Sundays very well anymore with church being the time it is now. And with the holiday season we usually use Sundays as our "serve" day. So please do not plan with me in mind on the Sunday events. If I can ever make one I will definitely be there!
I hope it is a great time and I always like reading play reports so anyone that wants to post any it will be appreiated by at least 1 person haha.

Important - this does mean registration is moved up 1 hour as well. All the last minute squad builders (looking at you DarkDracul and spryguy1981!) please have your squads sent to me -at minimum- 1 hour before start time.

I'm so sorry, but I think I'm going to have to withdraw. I ha be a terrible cold and can barely sit upright, let alone play minis. Again, I'm really sorry.
