I want to play a mini tournament with some Vset 23 pieces. I just need 1 or 3 other players.
Standard 200pt skirmishes.
Squads must include one of the following. Each of these either provides a squad template or a significant beatstick in a squad:
* Din Djarin (Mando's Allies squad)
* Hunter (Bad Batch squad)
* Hanharr & Kreia
* Joak Quiller & Saberan Marcross (Hand of Judgment)
* Kragan Gorr
* The Son
* Spy of the One Sith & vset 22 Wyyrlok
* Bela and Krasov Hara & Bazel Warv
* Jarek Yeager & Plasma-Jet Mole Miner
This is just a quick 4-squad tournament.
If we get 4 players, then it will be 2 games per person. Winners play and
losers play the consolation game.
If I only find one opponent, we'll each build 2 squads. The two squads I build will play against each other. My opponent chooses which of the 2 they want to play. Then vice versa: their two squads play against each other, and I choose which one to play. For the finals, each player takes their winning squad (regardless of which player was using that squad in round 1). Winner of the finals gets the tiniest trophy ever.
Optional: if everyone else is open to it, I'd prefer to draft the squad templates above to ensure that we see a variety of squads. It would stink see 3 out of 4 squads have many of the same pieces.
Games played on Vassal over the next week or 2 as we find time to play in the evenings.
Who's in? I'll give it 24 hours after the first person signs up to see if we can get a couple more.

Would you be open to drafting the squad templates? You'd get first pick for signing up first. If we don't get anyone else, we'd just go back and forth until they're all chosen. Then use 2 of your templates. If we have 4, then everyone can take 2 at a time and I'll take the 3 leftovers. (Two at a time so it's not obvious which one people will play.)

As long as you get to 50pts of Vset 23 pieces, I think that's fine. (There are several other NR and Fringe options.) There are some other options above that don't add up to 50pts, but they all go a long way to determining what the rest of the squad will be (e.g. Hand of Judgment, Din, Hunter, Hanharr). tint, you're up next.
