Thursday, September 5

7 p.m./6 p.m. Central: Dark Side/Light Side Team Tournament: Civil War
Description: Players will form two-person teams. Each team must include one "light-side" (OR, Republic, Rebel, NR, all-Fringe) and one "dark-side" (Sith, Separatist, Imperial, Yuuzhan Vong, Mandalorian) squad. There can be no duplicate uniques between the two squads. Please note: Unlike in previous iterations of this event, each light-side player will be paired against the opposing light-side player, and each dark-side player with the opposing dark-side player.

Friday, September 6

Note: Each of the Jedi Challenge events will be 3 rounds. Results for each event will be tallied to determine the overall winner for the day.

10 a.m./9 a.m. Central Jedi Challenge: 100-point subset tournament
Description: Build a 100-point squad comprised of pieces from any of the subsets of the released v-sets. Squads must contain at least one piece costing between 20 and 24 points.

3 p.m./2 p.m. Central: Jedi Challenge: 150-point Destiny of the Force tournament
Description: Build a 150-point squad comprised only of pieces from the first V-set. The Mandalorian Gunsmith loses Override, and Adanced Battle Meditation turns off at the end of the round.

Description: The main event. Test your most competitive 200-point squad against players from down the street and around the world. 4 rounds of Swiss pairings with top cut determined by attendance.

Description: using at least 1 piece from the newly released V-set 26 and/or its subset, construct a 200-point competitive squad. 3 rounds of Swiss pairings.

I'm thinking I will try and participate in this event. Can someone please explain how this one works?

So you need to have at least 1 mini from each faction, but then as many from any faction as long as you don't exceed 10 acts? Can you explain the "double-dipping" analogy...............thanks

What about Reserves/Reinforcements? Could I take [Chief of State Mon Mothma] and bring six extra troopers?

Is it regular squad building rules or can the 4 activations be from different factions?

Regular faction rules apply.

There was an Ice Cream shop in 1930s Massachusetts called, "The Double Dip."
A create-your-own sundae shop where people could dip their ice cream into multiple syrups.
By the 1950s "double-dipping" became a legal term for illegally benefiting from two sources simultaneously or by two separate accounting methods. The term became widely popularized by the 1990s Seinfeld show when George got caught putting a chip from his mouth back into the dip.
