I will be attempting to make it. It is a 3 hour drive so that means an early, early morning or crashing at my gf's house that's half way there. I will ask people to wear their flak jackets as I have been known to throw ewoks with deadly accuracy.

Thanks! I had a lot of fun. The time limit is going to help me learn more about troop placement and will also help me to plan my movements more in advance, so it was a great learning experience. I look forward to seeing you in more tournaments in the future!

Actually, the time won't be as much of a factor at the regional. The games will be an hour, not 35 minutes. And it was nice to meet you last night as well.

Thanks! It was fun meeting you / playing against you last night as well! Yep, I know it'll be an hour. I was just used to playing 100/150 matches with Ted all the time, and then we bumped up to 200 when we realized Regionals would be at 200, thus I'm still a bit slow at matches with so many activations, lol. I'm a pretty slow player in general, so having 35 minute matches really helped me speed it up and process things quicker, which will help for Regionals. =)

Noooooooooooo, now I gotta go even further North the get to the regional, and I have already gotten the days off. Maybe I will be lucky and it will be a more direct route anyways. Awesome, it is a more direct route lol. Mapquest says 7hrs 15min, but I'll get there in 6.5 haha. My friend and I look foward to meeting ya'll.

North Carolina. Mapquest says it's pretty much a straight shot up 81 though which is nice.

Hmm...this complicates me getting there a little more. Will see if I can work out getting a ride with someone else. Still hoping to make it!

Yeah, that's the idea that we had, too. I could just ride up with him on Friday and crash at his place over the weekend. We'll make it work!

Umm...given Ted and Laura's experience last year I don't think you want to use the words 'crash' and 'ride' in the same sentence lol.
