although I have played minis for at least a year and a half, and I have some questions, and I'm sure you have some too.feel free to post them. mine: Is poison blade optional, like if someone with block is adjacent? against adjacent enemies, does the Genoharaden Assassin get yularnen's CE? I have 2 elite clone trooper and Bacara. If someone with it's a trap! got close enough, would I still have stealth(and thus SS) because I get stealth from A CE? Like said above, feel free to post questions, and answers.

1 Poisoned blade is not optional you must use it if you meet the Requirement. 2 Yularen would affect the Geno because at no point does he have the Melee attack Special ability 3 They would lose stealth because although they get it from a commander effect, it counts as being Printed on their card, so it would be subject to ITS a TRAP and FORCE SENSE

ah. but poison blade says:"this counts as a melee atttack", so that threw me off. another question. some force power you don't need a target, like repulse. so can someone like maris run up to a diplomat, then repulse to kill them, because repulse doesn't say target enemies, just everyone within x distance. the question here is if the diplomat is the only character within the repulse radius. and while along those lines, can you repulse so that it kills your own guys, and none of the opponent's guys(like to set off a kel dor)?

oh, and yet another thing. If the elite clones were to be withing 6 of a disruptive character, would they lose stealth(and also SS) because they get it from a CE?

can you get more than on Extra attack? in a mixed-factions battle it might come up. extra attack is "one cumulative extra attack". since it's cumulative, wouldn't you get 2 extra attacks?

This is why Nickname had the rules he did on WOTC. In the future, either start a new thread or keep all your questions to one post, as it really is a bit difficult to keep track of.
1. Poisoned Blade is not optional. This is in the FAQ. 2. Yularen does affect the Genoharadan, as he never has Melee Attack. 3. Nope. You gain Stealth from the CE, so it is as if it is on their cards. They are subject to losing it just like those with it actually on their cards. 4. Repulse neither targets nor attacks, so it will damage all characters within range. 5. If you position it so only your allies are damaged, sure. Not very good strategy, but it is an option. 6. Yes. Since they would no longer be subject to the CE that grants them Stealth. 7. Extra Attack says it is culmative, thus it stacks.

You don't even need a mixed faction battle. General Windu and Obi-wan Jedi General both grant Extra Attack for the Republic faction. So a Clone with Repeating Blaster within range of both commanders could make 6 Attacks

It makes it easier to answer the question and prevents confusion, and it also enables users to search to see if the question has already been asked.

And use a meaningful title like "Poisoned Blade" rather than "random questions" then keep the contents on that topic alone. It makes it so much easier in the long run for everyone. Basically, if you have 20 questions about 20 different topics no one will be upset that you start 20 different thread. They'll be happy about it.

Or, if you had a figure inside a Rebel Troop Cart with a Gonk droid, and it was adjacent to 12 other Gonk Droids, and the first Rebel Troop Cart was also adjacent to 4 other Rebel Troop Carts that each had 2 Gonk Droids... then your figure could get 21 extra attacks.

I don't think that quite works. The troop cart ability doesn't mention the passengers as counting adjacent to characters adjacent to the cart, just that they can make attacks against characters adjacent to the cart. It's like Melee Reach where the character counts as adjacent for one purpose and one pupose only (melee attack).

the ones in adjacent troop carts would count but the surrounding 12 would and the one inside.

The one inside yes, but I find nothing in the FAQ or Glossary that would suggest the ones adjacent to the troop cart count as adjacent to the passengers, It merely mentions counting distance FROM the cart not TO it. If you could please provide a link that would suggest otherwise I would appreciate that.

Durge4-LOM wrote:can you use squint and a malak (via a crusader) in the same squad? According to the FAQ Yes Q: By using the Jedi Crusader's Affinity, can Squint and Malak end up in the same squad? A: Yes. In general, the designers try to prevent such situations within the standard faction-based squad building rules but various abilities and play formats can result in discrepancies. I personally disagree with that and feel it's an oversight as Unique on Squints card could certainly be expanded to include (Counts as Malak) but Unique is rarely a defined ability, especially in regards to such odd circumstances.

more questions. can you use an ability(like Sith Lightning 30 Force 2, replaces attacks: range 6; 30 damage) that doesn't need a target, can you use those abilities on character with SS, invisibility, etc.?

It still needs a legal target to use those abilities. Look at the Glossary definitions.
