Hey there and welcome to the first Tile Wars Booster League.

Note: This league will not start until October 18, 2010. This thread is created for rules and sign ups.

This league will follow the normal Tile Wars rules. For those of you who don't know what the rules are here ya go.

Each player will assemble a 200 point squad and each player will select 1 5x7 tile to play on. Each player will reveal their squad and tile to their opponent. Tiles MUST allow for a minimum of 2 squares of entry. This means you have at minimum 2 different spaces to enter your opponent's tile. Your squad can assemble anywhere on your tile and must fit on the tile to be legal.

This format also gets rid of a few special abilities. Any figures with Diplomat lose it. You CANNOT Override any doors closed in Tile Wars.

These matches are not like a regular match since there is action that will take place on the first turn.

Each person in the league would receive 4 boosters (their choices 2 Pre-Legacy, 2 Post Legacy, no duplicate boosters can be selected from these 4 boosters) to build a 200 point squad (ignoring faction rule). Winners would receive a booster of their choice from pre-Legacy sets and losers would receive a booster from Legacy through MOTF of their choice. Playoffs would begin after everyone has played 6 matches. All 5x7 tiles are legal, expect for the Turbolift Cluster and the Tractor Beam Bridge.
Each week players will be given an opponent to play. Players have 1 week to complete their games. This league will start on Monday October 18, 2010. The first week will run through Sunday October 24, 2010.

*Note: Players should use bloomilk for communication since we are all members. If you decide not to and use other means of communication that's up to you.

All players are to post their booster selection in the standings thread and boosters will be distributed based on when the games are completed. I have no intentions of waiting to send out boosters like some of the other leagues. Once you play you get your figures. Matches will be sent out once a week as well.

A note about no shows: Any no show for a game will be considered a player dropping from the league. The player who does show will get their choice in any booster. As a courtesy to the other players in the league show up to your game when you schedule it. Also, allow atleast 30 mins from the time that players set up the game until you call a no show. Give your opponent a fair chance to play.
