Literally, what do you bring when you play minis? Do you bring all your minis or just a team or two? Laser level? Mountain Dew? The soundtrack to A New Hope?

if depends for me. If we are playing at our league or at home i obviously bring everything because we are not always sure what we are going to play, but if i am going to something like regionals or gen con i bring all of the squads i think i am going to use and a few extras with reserves and such that apply, and my trades and thats it miniatue wise. now i usualy also have cherry coke nearby because there is no better ambrosia than that to me. ANd beef jerky, because when you dont want to get up out of a match or go anywhere in between that slice of jerky can be a life saver. :)

Playing on a table...now there is a great idea. I usually just have some kind of star wars music playing. I use a tape measure for working out LOS.

I bring my ENTIRE collection, my maps, dice, damage/FP counters, retractable lanyard and a year's supply of Excedrin for the inevitable migraine I will get from over-working what little gray matter I have between my ears.

Sincerely,
Jester007

Someone I play against regularly always brings his Felcor simply to 'watch' the game, while the rest of his squad runs.

My squad(s), dice, LOS, map or tiles, trade stock, drink, anything I need to pass out to the other players, knowledge of the rules, a fun-loving attitude, a good sense of humor, and a willingness to help other players understand the game/rules/ their squad better. ;)

I do not waste time or energy with trades, maps, dice, counters or LOS tools. The only thing I bring is one all-powerful mini.

George Lucas, Final Creative Authority

Its an auto-win.

On a more serious note, I typically bring just about everything. However, I only have about 1/3 of the minis so its not too much to drag around.

I bring my whole collection (minus extraneous extra minis) and my laminated maps, LOS, and plenty of dice because I need to change constantly usually lol.

I always used to get made fun of at my old LGS for bringing everything, people weren't laughing when I pulled out wierd Lobot reinforcements for a win or they needed to borrow minis though.BigGrin

This is how I used to be when my collection was smaller. As it grew, I wouldn't bring so much but now, you never no when your going to need a T1 because you already brought a Bodyguard Droid in the last time you rolled a 1 for initiate.
