Several complaints were received, in addition to some members taking issue within those threads.
I locked/moved one thread at the request of two different members. Shinja himself moved another thread to the mod area.
As for your post, if you have an issue with how moderation is being carried out I suggest you take it to bloomail or contact Shinja directly.

I'm new here but there is a lot of petty bickering going on :(
I am happy that some folks want to keep the game alive and create new sets, maps etc but you need to have fun folks...thats what it's all about :)
Modding is not always a popular job, Kudos :)

Fun is always welcome, but fun should not be had at the expense of others. If your version of fun is to poke fun at other people...well, then not everybody is having fun. That's what was happening. We should be having fun together, not at each other.

That's what was happening. We should be having fun together, not at each other. Fun also can't only be what the Borg thinks is fun. One the biggest problems the SWM COMmunity has had for years is that there seems to be a collective opinion by a select group of individuals and no matter how you oppose that opinion it will be received with extreme prejudice. Those very same select individuals universally feel offended by any such opposition and conversely defend themselves collectively. I'm sure it's very comforting to see a collective opinion be defended so fiercely, but at the same time it makes having an opposing opinion very difficult to express. Opposing opinion threads have historically been closed, locked, or deleted on WotC. I think that is the way the collective opinion folks want it. All we get to see is one point of view. Again, opposing opinions are deemed by others as an attack, not fun, causing problems, etc. I can tell you one thing, it's not very fun to never be allowed to express an opposing opinion. I believe that is partly where the label "elitist" comes from. I poke fun by pretending to be an elitist and it upsets those who are allegedly labeled to be elitists. What's a brother to do? Shawn.

The JB thread is locked, so..... while reading that thread all I could think of was George Carlin spining in his grave.

Um....Don't poke fun at people? That should be pretty obvious. Actually present valid arguments with information or opinions to back them up and reasons why other people should accept said ideas. Just poking fun at people is of course going to upset them. Poking fun at people is considered internet bullying. It's not FUN, if you're the only person having any.

I would think it should be obvious, that an entire thread that is a parody of exactly one other thing going on, is a pretty direct criticism of the person doing it. That kind of "fun" is only fun for those making fun of another. That's called bullying, and it darn well better be considered "illegal" on an internet forum.
I should think one so informed of the world, would also know that right now, most legislators have internet bullying laws under consideration by making it a criminal offense. It's serious stuff.
As for making those critical of your "fun" out to be the "Borg" well, that's just ridiculous. Get over yourself. It isn't funny to make fun of someone else' hard work. You pissed off a really nice and generous guy with that thread, who had no idea who you were, or why you would say such things about his idea. It most certainly deserved to disappear, and you knew it right when you made it Shawn.
Here's what Brad said about your "fun" to me.
"Yeah, he's basically been harassing me about the Map Committee, and it was really starting to piss me off. I wanted to include Bloomilk members if I could and he was really starting to make that not possible."
I guess he didn't see it as all the "funny" either.

Honestly, if I was trying to poke fun at anyone it was myself. The posts I made early last week were extremely and intentionally obnoxious. It was not meant to offend anyone, I was having fun at my own expense. To BlooMilks credit I was banned for like 3-5 days and I deserved it. Shinja sent me a very nice PM explaining why it happened and now I've toned it down in an attempt to be a little more serious about my opinions. See my Q&A Thread. I openly apologize to anyone who I offended last week, it was not my intention. Those who know me personally can tell you that I just like to get a little goofy sometimes. That was a bad decision on my part. Again, I sincerely apologize. Let's move on from my silly child-like behavior.
