Hey Seattle/Puget Sound area gamers! (or anyone else willing to make the trek here)

Join us at 6:15pm every other Thursday for some Star Wars Miniatures gaming!

Where:
Gary's Games
8539 Greenwood Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98103-3613
Directions

What time:
6:15pm

What are we playing:
Thursday, November 18th
200 Points

Thursday, December 2nd
150 Points

Thursday, December 16th
DOTF sealed event
150 Points DOTF Sealed. As of right now I don't have the cards, but I'm going to print off a few sets for the event. I've got miniatures ready to go for this.

Thursday, December 30th
150 Points - Master and Apprentice
One of the characters must have trained the other in Star Wars canon, the apprentice can be from any faction. For example: If you are playing Yoda and Dooku you essentially get to bring Dooku into the Republic faction (or Rebels.)

Alright, so a slight time change due to store hours, but other then that last night went off without a hitch.

I'm thinking that the event after Master and Apprentice could be a Destiny of the Force "release event" (pending arrival of cards) followed by a battle of Hoth since I know we've got at least 2 AT-ATs, a lot of snowspeeders.

If there are any Seattle/Bellevue/Western Washington players by the way who are interested in Destiny of the Force set let me know and I'll see if we can't get a set in for you.

It sounds like Dean is starting to ship out the DOTF cards. If those get here before the 16th We're going to swap out to a Destiny of the Force "sealed" event. I'll try to bring enough miniatures for that if it happens.

This is probably the entirely wrong thread for this - but is there a "set list" (for lack of a better term) out yet? That way I can bring along some stuff too.

Shockingly, I have all but 8 of the DotF figures! Mostly it's the new republic that I'm missing.

Darn, I missed the release. Is there any other way to get the cards for the set?

Actually they didn't show up last week so you didn't miss out much. We just played with the downloaded and printed home version.

Wait, so can you just print out the cards on a printer at your house?

No word from Brad yet, but it looks like I'm a go for this Thursday. Hopefully my stuff shows up by then, so I can apply a proper beatdown. (:

Well, Just heard from Brad - he gets off work at 7, which throws off the timing of getting there at 6. :) So I'll show up at 6 and we'll play it by ear for him.
