Yesterday I received a parcel from Troll and Toad and it contained someone else's order. I emailed them but have not received a reply. Has anyone else had this experience and, if so, how was it resolved?

Yes from MiniatureMarket.com I got an item that should have gone to Denmark ( I am in the UK), It was an order for over $150. I emailed MM and they asked me to forward it to the right person, and asked me to send a scan of the recite and then gave me the money back via pay pal. they also gave me a $20 gift coupon to use.
I think the main thing you can do is just email them again and give them a few days to reply.
Do not forward the item to the right person until they have replied to you Email and you have an agreement on what to do, such as them covering your cost and compensation for your inconvenience (if you feel this is appropriate) because if you do they do not have to repay you unless it has been agreed upon first.
The only other thing you can do is return the item to the post office and say it has been delivered to the wrong person. That way there is no cost to you as it would be the post office who has to deal with it.
Also if you were expecting an order yourself, then you need to get that sorted as well.

I haven't had that particular problem, but have dealt with the company for multiple orders. They are pretty good about replying and doing what is necessary to make the orders right. Give them another business day and there's a good chance you'll get a reply with instructions for what to do next.

If it had 10 Advance Scouts, 5 uggies, Luke Hero of Yavin, Bastila Shan, 2 or 3 Sith Troopers, a Sith Officer (the kneeling one), an Advance Agent Officer, Biggs Darklighter, Wicket, Scout Trooper from A&E, Rebel Commando from A&E, 2 Mon Calamari Tech Specialists and Han Solo, Rogue then it is my order.

Nope. They sent me a dozen super-hero minis. And I don't like super-heroes.

I ordered from T&T only once. They sent my minis with their cards wrapped around them. Never again for me. Lost a customer for life right there.

I think I would have lost my blasted mind. I've never had a problem with them however. They are like the last vestige of a place I can still get an unused mini. I haven't ordered from miniaturemarket yet.

That was back in 2006. I'm sure they sorted it out and don't do that anymore or they wouldn't be in business anymore. Nevertheless, they've lost me for life, or until they are the only one left in the world selling SMW singles.

@Lily: I've ordered from Troll and Toad somewhere between 20-30 times and I've never had a problem with them. I've talked to the owner in person on several occasions and he seems like a nice guy. You shouldn't have a problem getting your issue fixed as long as you have some proof as to what your order # was, and what was in the order.
Sincerely, Jester007

Since they wrap each mini individually with its card, I have had the issue where the cards get bent. I had a loda arrive pretty fubared because of it. Since then, I have always requested that my VR cards be put in hard plastic toploaders, and now I don't even have to ask anymore, they just do it. My C/UC still do get bent up though, although seldom creased.

I have only ordered from trollandtoad.com once, but was very happy with them. I will definitely order from them again.

So... After one week and three emails, I finally received a reply from T&T. The reply agreed that my order was switched with some-one else's. Thank you. Then I received a new message from a polite employee named Candace. She apologised and attached a printable label so that I may return the parcel at no cost to me. Okay. But when can I expect the items for which I paid? Their next response was "soon" and, oh, btw, some of your order can not be filled now so we credited your card for those items. This where they lost me. No option of waiting for those items, having them sent later/serparately, store credit, substitutions (which I would have done), etc. It was decided for me. I have had worse experiences and would not denigrate T&T. That said, I would consider their resolution to this issue somewhat substandard and I don't expect I'll buy from them again.

Mantain the negotiations open until you are totally satified, don't let that they close it, send a lot of mail with your disagree, greettings.

Actually, I forgot to mention that the last two orders I made, I was not sent all my items (and was refunded promptly), but I did not find out that they were not included until I got the package (I missed out on 12 $0.49 Ewoks. The person who bought all 50, You know who you are! [angryfist])

My problems with Troll and Toad is that every time I a order a bunch of minis they put them in the smallest box possible and the minis and their cards come to me bent, creased, and smashed. This has happened to me twice, so I'm never ordering anything from them ever again.

Are any members of the Troll and Toad delegation able to stand up and defend yourself in front of the court. On the serious side, I have ordered from three other sites and have had good dealings. I've thought on ordering from them time to time and the sounds of this is making me unasure of them.
