Dean used to have a cache of Shadow Stormtrooper promo figs. Does anybody know who inherited it? I sent bloo mail to dvader and bill, but didn't hear back. I don't think they're on here very often.

Dvader831 (ray) is holding on to what was left. I think he'll get back to you when he's got some time.

dvader isn't on often, but I believe he may be the guy handling those now. Bill is on vacation. You might be able to send dvader a PM through the front page on Gamers.

I have something like half a case of promo Snowtroopers with E-Web blasters and I was hoping they'd go for a big swap.

It sounds like most of the promo stormies are.spoken for. They were offered out in exchange for donations back in december but are only now being shipped out by dvader at his own expense.
Ps - i'd be interested in a couple of those e-webs. Don't know what they're worth, but i'd like to mod a couple...Mando with E-web.....Stormie? Scout?...hmm the possibilities!

I'm still waiting for mine too, Dvader told me he was shipping to people who have donated for RaR first and it was coming out of his own pocket.

Darth_Sal: I was thinking $5 or so each, or, of course, something from my want list: http://www.bloomilk.com/Collection/bkchi/Wantscreme_brule: Sure, PM me. If anybody talks to dvader or one of those guys please relay my message. If you guys want me to take over the SS Promo distribution I could do that if dvader is too busy.

$5 is a fair price, that's how much I spent on the ones I got on eBay when they came out. Very cool promos!

Do they look different from a standard Snowtrooper on E-Web?

I believe they're the same for the most part until you get to the base. The bases of these are square and read "Star Wars" on the front like the Alliance & Empire bases. If I recall correctly, the set icon on the bottom says "Promo" also. Someone who has more knowledge of the promos may be able to list the differences in more detail. Often the promos are painted differently, but I never noticed a big difference in the paint job on these. Never looked too hard, though.

If you think about it, its kind of hard to repaint a Snowtrooper and EWeb Blaster. I mean, whats there to repaint? Though, on a side note itd be col to have a Snowtroper repainted Red....itd be like the Red Baron! (But instead called the Red Snowtrooper)....

Yeah, there aren't a lot of options for snowtroopers. Would you like white or white? The Ugnaught Demolitionist promo is cool in gray, but my favorite is the Caamasi noble. Tell me this isn't cool:

Tell me this isn't cool: I'm quite fond of the Camasi promo's snazzy paint job. I snagged a 2nd one on Ebay for pretty cheap not too long ago.

I sent Ray a message on facebook to respond to your Shadow request bkchi. He's in a very busy 2 week stretch at work, but he hasn't forgotten. :)
