Well that ends that...I guess. Kind of anticlimactic if you ask me. Like Kol Skywalker being killed by Darth Nihl.

Anticlimactic is exactly what it was. Darth Nihl kills Kol Skywalker with his weak Force Lightning, yet Azlyn Rae somehow survives a Force Storm from both Darth Krayt and Darth Muur. Psshhh... Weak. That does not stop the Legacy comics from ruling all of Star Wars though...

poor kol, the skywalkers always had a weakness against force lightning.

I just don't like seeing a Skywalker killed by some second-rate Sith. Doesn't matter that Nihl got him when his back was turned and after he was exhausted from fighting other Sith and Stormtroopers, it should have been better. Have him fight Krayt one-on-one or even something ridiculous like a revived Vader. Almost (note I said almost) anything would have been better. *takes deep breaths to calm down.* I think that is my only big complaint about Legacy.

I do not know what would have been both a plausible and better end for Kol. Krayt would not take part in Ossus since he had to save his strength to take the throne rather than fight Jedi. Wyyrlok would have been great, but he would have to stay with Krayt during such a crucial time to plan the usurpation. You must also remember that multiple sith used force lightning against Kol at the same time. There were at least two, probably more. I suppose that it was anticlimactic, but that made it more tragic I suppose. Maybe if they made it more clear that he was overwhelmed by a storm of lighting from multiple sith it would have been better.

The writers had their reason for coming up with what they did. I'm all done ranting though. I think if I keep going like this, I'm going to upset someone.

agreed. But im just not much of a skywalker Fan. they all have issues that cause problems for the Galaxy. if i were a crime lord, my order would be to shoot on sight! Wyyrlok killing Krayte was anticlimactic too, so i think him kill Kol would have been even more Boring. but thats just my opinion.

Force lightning must be a popular way for the Sith to finish people off in the Legacy series. Out of all the Skywalkers though, I feel kind of bad for at least Luke Skywalker. He worked so hard to fight the Empire and restore the Jedi, everything's just gone bad for him and the Jedi since he restored the Jedi. Starting with the Yuuzahn Vong War, the Killik vs Chiss war and Dark Nest Crisis, the Darth Caedus issue, and now with whatever new book series they have, the Jedi have essentially become the top enemies of the Galactic Alliance. Just think, almost 50 years of work for nothing.
