The Luke Legacy of the Light Side is pre-ESB I believe. He's wearing a Rebel commando stealth outfit from one of the DH comics. He and Deena Shan infiltrated an Imperial Star Destroyer refueling base to blow it up.

Luke, Legacy of the Light Side (I don't know what timeframe is this figure supposed to represent. He's a shooter, so it's not RotJ, but he's in black so it is RotJ.)

As far as I can remember, I think this one was in the "Rebellion" Comics...

How about a special ability to potentially limit the use of self destruct.
Something like:

Demolition expert:
If this character is adjacent to a character with self destruct, self destruct will only work on roll of 11 or higher.

Or as Demosthenes wrote earlier,
Blast shield

An alternate effect could be to half the damage of self destruct.

Thanks. The extent of my EU knowledge is the Zahn trilogy, some old WEG RPGs, and a bunch of wookieepedia... mostly whatever SWM has directed me to read.

How about this:

Comlink: This character and each ally within 6 squares are always considered within range for allied Commander Effects.

So a piece having this SA is like a Communications Officer or somethin'... Flapper

This doesn't seem to be a big advantage over Relay Orders.

Yes, but it doesn't have to be within 6 squares of a commander in order for it to increase the range of CE's... It further reduces the risk of getting your commanders killed... So it's like Relay Orders with a little mix of Booming Voice... BigGrin

That's how Relay Orders work. A mouse droid does not need to be within 6 of the Commander either, just in the same squad.

The only difference at all in this ability, is that you've written it where the figure in question gets the CE as well. Hence the reason someone said, "doesn't seem to be a big advantage".

The other advantage in the proposed ability is that it would expand CEs with range 2 or 4, but none of those are too overwhelming. I'm not sure based on the rules if it would also expand CEs that require adjacency. Still, doesn't seem to be a big advantage.

Aaah... Now that, I didn't know... I thought it still has to be within 6 squares of a commander... Now I get why FlyingArrow said "doesn't seem to be a big advantage"... Hahaha... Sorry guys...

Oh yeah, that's a good one. Six squares was a little bit of a girly-maan throw, and a little too close for comfort if they were real grenades.
However, it was a mortar grenade, shouldn't that limit movement for that character (Cannot move and grenade at the same time), since a mortar would require a moment to set up.
