Word has reach command of a conflict occuring between Commanders Amadeus and Verjal
Verjal --goingoutwithabang-- 32 Talon Karrde, Information Broker 24 Zayne Carrick 92 Echani Handmaiden x4 23 Jarael 23 Jolee Bindo 3 Mouse Droid
Amadeus --MILDLY THEMATIC-- 100 Dooku 57 Asajj Ventress, Strike Leader 10 San Hill 8 R7 Astromech Droid 10 Muun Guard x2 12 Geonosian Drone x4 3 Mouse Droid
After landing, Dooku and his assassin Asajj moved to investigate the area around the landing zone. Sensing danger was near, they lept up into action to deal with the threat. The source became immediately clear, a group of time-travelling handmaidens and jedi had made landfall at the outpost as well. Normally they would prove no match for one as great as Dooku, however this overconfidence led to overextending their position. Fate had twisted plans for both parties, as numerous failures piled up. Asajj was neutered almost immediately by the effects of Zayne's cortosis guantlets. Dooku was left in the open and could not deflect to save his life. Hits were taken, but the pair braved the storm of onslaughts. In Asajj's case, only sith rage kept her going.
The true mastermind Talon Karrde, previously unbeknownst to the sith, revealed himself as lightsabers swung. His force-negating pets quickly brought the two to a grinding halt, with no more tricks to pull. A last-ditch attempt was made by dooku to dispense with the enemies, but some serious blows were dealth and even the mighty Lord Tyrannus himself was brought to his knees.
But little did Karrde's Time Travellers know, that it was all a distraction. For while the fighting went on between the 2 forces, Darth San Hill made his exit from the transport. With a retinue of geonosians, he stormed the middle command center and gained access to the communication system to call in support from a Commando Droid Sniper and the Muun Guard. Sensing something was up, Jarael rushed to intercept the Dark Master of the Sith, but found him surrounded by geonosian drones. She dodged past the mob of drones and prepared to finish him off. But San Hill, Supreme Leader of All, would have none of that. Pulling a simple dagger from behind his back, he critically wounded Jarael. While she parried the blow, the poison was already at work in destroying her In her spasms of pain an illusion was left by Hill of himself running away. Vision swimming with pain, she pursued and struck down the illusion. While she was distracted, San Hill swarmed her with drones, until she was drowned in their assaults. Turning back to the north, he mercilessly hunted down and personally executed every last one of the scum.
But actually, it was a horrible match for me and I lost 56-187.

News flash my friend ; Dooku without a BX spotter, and no solid shooters to back him up, is a recipe for disaster. Go Rebels!

*Final Transmission to all Separatist Commanders*
The war is over. This galaxy's pandemic has become to strong and as such the only tactical solution is to retreat and withdraw. To those of you that still survive, your final orders are to go underground, carry out harrasment attacks and never stop fighting. The separatist council has been captured and I have no reports on Dooku or Sideous at this time. As such I'm taking what's left of the Ark after the raids and moving to the unknown regions. Sideous has stated we had allies in that region, as he was attempting to prepare the galaxy for something worse then the bloated and corrupt Republic or the anarchistic Rebellion. Something that is coming to wipe out all life from beyond, perhaps I will go and rebuild our forces in preparation for that day...
For we still have this weapon, this station could one day return and become a firebrand of conquest if the cloning program is successful... But I have spoken too much. This information is classified, and even with a broken command, and a defeated military. I am still a General. And I will carry out my duty.
So keep fighting commanders. Survive to fight another day and wait for the day that the Confederacy returns once more to bring order to this chaotic ruin. Strength and honour gentlemen.
Grievous Out.
*Transmission lost as the crippled and limping Ark enters hyperspace*
It's been an absolute pleasure serving as your commander, it was a fun campaign despite epic losses (CIS is so outmatched hahaha) and cool to see new squad ideas surface and really get to play as and experience the other layers of the Separatists and Rebellion. Thanks to each of you for making time for the campaign, playing well and keeping be game we love going. Hope to see you all (and more) in the next battle. I also think we can all get together and virtually have an Ewok roast of the dreaded beasts hahaha. Thanks again and see you next time! Check the new thread for the next campaign ideas and get your thoughts in.
