Oooooooooooooooooooo Drool My already extreme excitement for this set has been greatly increased by this pic!
The prospect of a new Nomi is very cool, also this 76 point Sith intrigues me..

The downside to participating in playtesting? This thread is not nearly as much fun. :(

Rohlan is ok... but i have been waiting a long time for his piece and find it a little lacking. Just feels kind of bland i guess. He's decent... not sure what I was really expecting.

He should have at least had flight. He also had armor spikes... make something that deals damage against melee attackers? That could have been cool.

I don't like to nay say the v-sets, because, generally speaking, i feel like its the best thing that ever happened to this game, but i'm just a bigger fan of pieces that have primary functions outside of "mobile attacker".

Thinking about it, i do like that he has access to fringe and mando CE's, but he could technically already get that due to various methods of conscription... i guess he has it already as a cheaper alternative.

cool new pieces, sad that the RM is Grievous since I was hoping for a remake of the Kaleesh Grievous or even another Kaleesh. (also they look waaaaaay off, even a trooper would fit more) but all RM squabbles aside I think he is a neat niche piece that Jabba can bring in... Or possibly someone in the future?

Love the Baran Do Sage! Did not see this one coming but it is sweet balling awesome! Intuition to move up and then energy shields! So can Nom Anor shoot through it? I would think so. But cool non the less and cheap enough to bring in with reserves/reinforcements. Would be even better with a force battery (here's looking at you sith hologram, or even Grandmaster Skywalker for some ranged protection.... yes I like this one much more)

Great job!

P.S. Grievous, Kaleesh warlord??? Really???? Really??? Anyways sorry I'm done haha

No lightsaber abilities, and RM doesn't have one, so I'm guessing not.

I don't believe the Baran Do used lightsabers anyway.

I like the idea of having another character costed in the 20s, that is subject to lots of commander effects and can be boosted easily. I see Jarael and Dash RS all the time, so having another option is great. I think he's going to hang out with the new R23PO in New Republic builds a bit (I think something like this might work: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/113867/roly-hei-hei), but there are uses for him everywhere.

I believe most were martial artists, prefering to fight unarmed. But i may be confusing them with another tradition.

I love the stats for the new Obi Wan Kenobi. Master Slicer and JMT 3 is a awesome combo. I can't wait to try both Yoda of Dagobah and Ben Kenobi. I love how he has stealth also. Noble Sacrafice could be used very well with Han Smuggler for the 40 dmg accuarate shot. Maybe we will get another Luke with Impulsive shot down the line...one could hope. Impulisve Shot + Noble Sacrafice would be awesome. Too bad the Luke from RS has such a terrible attack. I was hoping this Kenobi would have synergy for Luke giving him a +4 attack, but if wishes were horses beggars would ride.RollEyes

Good piece overall! I can't wait to charge through a couple doors and activate some key peices on the opponents squad. Cool

I like the stats and flavor, but this is Obi-Wan on the Death Star, not Obi-Wan on Tatooine. "Ben Kenobi" in Cantina Brawl should have things like Bodyguard, a big Heal, Light Tutor... protecting and building up Luke. Maybe Quick Reactions. This is an excellent job on Death Star Obi-Wan, though: Master Slicer, Force Essence, and Noble Sacrifice all evoke great images from the film. BigGrin

Force Essence works really well with Luke Commando. You can put some decent damage out with him before he goes down, and then Luke can be used to throw your main attacker at the enemy on a regular basis.
