I do have to admit, the Skywalkers primary genetic trait, aside from being strong in the force, is the ability to endlessly whine and feel sorry for themselves.

yeah, but that was prolly due to the Mara Jade genes canceling out the skywalker ones in that instance.

Maybe it was just tough for Anakin and Luke to grow up without a real father, or even much of a father figure. And I know I would be programed to whine if I came from Tatooine...

Cade "Looks like David Lee Roth in Vader Pants" Skywalker is also a whining nag, he didn't have a father growing up, Luke at least had a father figure, and Ani had a mom, Cade is by far the most whining and self indulgent (and very possibly the most powerful) of the family, but yea, it's hereditary except Kol.
Is Mara a redhead? That would make alot of sense..
