Does anyone have contact info for General Grievous? We were suppose to start our game about 20min ago. (I'm only antsy because I have a narrow window before work.)
He's usually very reliable from what I can tell. Something out of his control probably came up. Hope everything is alright.

Spryguy defeats Flying Arrow 250-124 on Nightclub
Reinforcements: Wicket, Brute, 2 Uggies, Mouse
R1 He turns on ABM, I evade a ton of wookiee shots.
R2 He kills Satele and I almost kill Ven
R3 I kill Ven and his Wookiee Commander, Scoundrel, and Soldier
R4 I kill other Scoundrel, Nexu
R5 I kill Bastila
R6 I kill Tott and the last Wookiee.

So - top 4
Trevor #1 seed Spry #2 seed Etienne is in (#3 or #4 seed)
If I don't get a 3pt win - Tiebreaker between Jason and TJ for #4 seed (and Etienne is #3 seed)
If I get a 3pt win - Jason and TJ are out, tiebreaker between Etienne and I for #3 and #4 seed
Fun fun fun
15 min left in my game with General Grievous. Score is 70-14 GG leading, but doubtful it will be anything other than a 3pt win one way or another. We are in the thick of it - multiple deaths imminent. Damage has been spread around, many characters near death. Next init is massive!
I'm sure TJ and Jason will be waiting with anticipation to hear who wins that first init.
What will happen!?! We'll find out Monday!!!

As an added complication, spry is not sure if he will play in the top four due to his schedule. If he doesn't, I think that would mean the five seed gets in. Is that how it would work?

Is that how it would work? Spry would have to officially announce that he is dropping out, and then yes, chaos would ensue. Lol

Updated Standings partway through round 4:
The Bolded Names have completed round 4
12pts (4-0) thereisnotry 9pts (3-1) spryguy 8pts (3-1) Darth Frenchy 8pts (2-2) urbanjedi 8pts (2-2) Flying Arrow 7pts (2-2) kezza 5pts (2-1) TimmerB123 4pts (1-2) AceAce 4pts (1-2) Caedus 4pts (1-2) General Grievous 4pts (1-2) DarkDracul 3pts (1-2) HoneHeron 3pts (1-2) Deaths Baine 2pts (1-2) UrbanShmi 1pts (0-3) DarthRattlehead
So the only change that could happen to the top 4 is if Tim gets a 3 point win and pushes out either Jason or TJ. I think my Tie Breaks are better than Tims so I should end up in 3rd with a rematch against Spry. Who is ahead on tiebreaks right now between Jason and TJ??

Big problem for me. I need to root for General Grievous so that Tim doesn't claim the last spot in the top 4. I need to root against General Grievous because if he wins it helps Jason's strength of schedule. What I really need is the apparently unlikely scenario of a 2pt win for Tim (since he said a 3pt win for someone is very likely to happen in the 15 minutes or so they have left on the clock).
urbanjedi opponents: 1) Frenchy 3-1 8pts 2) General Grievous 1-2 4pts 3) Caedus 1-2 4pts 4) tint 4-0 12pts
FlyingArrow opponents: 1) DeathsBaine 1-2 3pts 2) tint 4-0 12pts 3) HoneHeron 1-2 3pts 4) spryguy 3-1 9pts
Is strength of schedule based on opponent points or opponent record? Pretty sure it's just record - not points. As it stands right now, we are exactly tied on opponents' combined record. Opponents' worst win is actually ignored, though. But with dropping the worst win for each of us, it doesn't make a difference - still tied.
Next tiebreaker is record counting only defeated opponents. Still tied.
Then full strength of schedule - still tied.
Then roll off.
Go HoneHeron! Go DeathsBaine! Go DarkDracul! Go 2 point win for Tim!

Go HoneHeron! Go DeathsBaine! Go DarkDracul! Go 2 point win for Tim! If it comes down to a roll off... Why wouldn't you 2 just play a game? I mean, its an online tournament, and if the 2 of you were able to get a time set up really fast, it would be much more epic, than a Vassal roll off... Just a thought if the tie does get that crazy, lol.

Just a thought if the tie does get that crazy, lol. Personally, I kinda like that idea; there are a lot more options available to us since this is an a-synchronous online tournament, so it seems like a more realistic way of breaking the tie. Rolling a die to break a tie is about as satisfying as resorting to Penalty Shots to decide a soccer or hockey game. lol However, it seems like there are extremely low odds of this situation even coming up in the first place, so it probably won't matter anyway.

Just a thought if the tie does get that crazy, lol. Fully agree! I'll even take it one step further - most of the restrictions we have in general are tailor made for live tournaments (with time constraints being a big part of that). We shouldn't have time limits on games for Vassal. Let's play the game out and see who actually wins. (Or at very least extend the time limit) Back in the day (cue the music) - it was so much more fun concentrating on actually playing the game, and not just playing fast. The meta was so much more open because there are strong squads that simply don't play fast enough, so they are not tournament viable. We could kick back, have a beer, conversate, and play the game we love, without having to be obscessed about only playing fast. Now days I feel like a jerk when an opponent genuinely is being nice and conversing with me and I have to remind them to speed up. It's just not as fun, that's the bottom line. We have the opportunity to go back to that with extended timeline vassal tournies (not all taking place in one day). People can actually enjoy cammeraderie between fellow players, and not be forced to simply concentrate on how fast you can play. In most games that "go to time", 15 minutes more is all that is really needed. 90 minute limit for vassal tournies could solve all of this. Added bonus - you will have to worry about ridiculous tie-breakers less often, because there will be less 2pt victories. Luckily we won't have to worry about that in this tournament, because the guys with a 2-2 record will not be advancing to the final 4. 3-1 or 4-0 battling it out - as it should be! Onto the final 4 gentlemen!
